Okay, so since I've had this discussion with a few of you, I figured it would be a good starter topic.
'Trolling'.
Now I don't mean TOS violations, or spamming stupid comments, I mean trolling in the sense of making a comment or a thread made to get a rise out of some of gaia.
It could be something simple like telling an over-reactor in some political discussion that the 'Internet is serious business', it could be playing devil's advocate in a debate, or just deciding to raise the question of 'Does the Hulk have green junk down there too?' in a fan thread.
Most of us (all of us) have done something like this at some point or another, and sometimes it had glorious results.
For me, it's probably a defense mechanism I use because I just can't get over how POed people get over everything here, and I just can't relate dramallama
I'm inviting you all to share your favorite 'trolling' moment.

Or like, making a mule account, then going into Chatterbox, or better, GD and making stupid random threds. xd

I love f***ing with people. I do it sometimes just to be mean, and because my twisted sense of justice often sees that people deserve what they get. My favorite trolling moments is reminding young gaians attempting to get their hookup on what the word statutory means. Always a good feeling.
Then I'll let somebody walk up who's complimenting my avatar, and then tell them flatly no donations, no exceptions, and see how long they try and change my mind before realizing that it is hopless because I hate them.

I think most trolling is actually a public service. It's just not always one everyone appreciates.

Well, I'm a mod on a pretty big forum outside of Gaia so under that username I always have to behave. Here I like to be silly and just mess with a few folks in Chatterbox from time to time - like the time I told them my dog suddenly had 30 puppies and that my mom was freaking out and posted a photoshopped pic. Or the time I said that 100s of cats were suddenly following me everywhere I went. xd But I don't do that much these days... not since I realised that in GD it's possible to find some semi-normal conversation.

I've found a few posts that were credible, but it's by and large a lot of dramallama (but sometimes that's fun to read.) You know, I've never 'attempted' the chatterbox to my memory. You guys are braver than I. wink Maybe someday...

Oh, the chatterbox is GREAT when you're in the mood for it. Especially when you can effectively shut down a drama llama thread with logic. I also love the anime section for that. The voice of reason that abruptly ends the stupid conversation. I love it. It's great for somebody with as big an argumentative streak as I have.

I like to walk around in towns in the dancer thong and make flash and thrust emotes at random people. They hate it, I love it. I also like to go into the game rooms that have names like "hot girls only" or "cyber please!" to harrass the horny teens. They're hillarious <3
I don't post much on the forums though, usually when I do it's for a question or something. I only troll in forums very rarely and it takes a TRUE dumbass to provoke it. heart
