I also try to keep in mind that some people who joined might be new to Gaia as a whole. Being in that postition before, it can be very confusing, but here are a few things to be careful about.
-NEVER, and I mean NEVER, give your password out to anyone! Gaia staff really don't need it to see your account, so these PMs goin around are fake and should be reported using the report pm button. Remember, even if Lanzer himself asks you for it, report him. xd
-Also, don't click on links from PMs or strange sites immediately; hover over with the mouse to make sure taht's what hte site really is. Some scams inclulde things like "Vote for me in the arena" and it gives you a link. DON'T CLICK IT IF IT'S FAKE! Instead, report the PM. Some sites log you out and take you to a fake login page, where typing in your password pretty much gives it to hackers. Even if this happens and you don't type anything, run a scan on your computer; some sites have cookies that remember what password you type in.
-Here's an important one that's often forgotten: Buying Gaia gold with real money is ILLEGIAL! You can buy the MCs and Gaia cash on this site; those are run by Gaia and are safe and fair. But there are some sites that offer Gaia gold in exchange for cash. This is illegial and WILL get you premanently banned! So please don't do it; it's not fair for those who actually work hard for their gold!
