BESM for short. I absolutely LOVE this game, it was my very first tabletop rpg ever and its awesome. Its anime based, but you can do pretty much ANYTHING with it. The original was a 2d6 system but the third edition was a d20 system(I've never played with the d20 system though). Its simple and wonderfully flexible. Unfortunatly the company that made it, Guardians of Order, went out of business a little over a year ago. Another company was supposed to take over the production of BESM but I don't now which one. I've never met anyone who has actually heard of this game though, so if you have, tell me! We can share gaming experiences, lol. xd

Hrmm, can't say that I've ever heard that one before. Sounds interesting!
I started with D&D back, back, back in time. THEN moved onto the best ever RP game, Cyberpunk.
If you've read William Gibsons books, you know the game. it's awesome.

My brother plays, and he's fully customized his army with all sorts of nifty modeling parts he's picked up. Fully custom paint set.. the works!

I saw the d20 version of BESM in my local Hastings about a year or so ago, but at the time I was looking for something specific, so even though it looked pretty cool, I just didn't pick it up. I've been pretty much kicking myself for it ever since.

We replaced him with the guy who was our party leader, but the new guy only does D&D, Warhammer and world of darkness. To make things worse rest of party only wants to play D&D. But I do like the fact that our new DM does not take as much pleasure in killing our characters as our old one.
