I had a dream just recently where I was chasing down someone I knew and I had the feeling that they were going to hurt themselves. Also, apparently my van in the dream world is made of titanium because I had to cut through a turn, plowed through some cars, slammed through a fence, and then stopped to make up some excuse about my breaks being messed up to a near by cop.

I've had a couple.
In one of them, I came to the realization that my heart stopped beating, yet I continued to live. Every few minutes in that dream, my thoughts usually were "OMG, why aren't I dropping dead already? eek " Another thing was that I didn't even breathe, it was like I didn't have a need for breathing anymore. Then for some odd reason I can't recall, I took a knife and stabbed myself through my hand...only to find that it was painless and I didn't bleed at all...and I could see the hole clear through my hand. eek Getting even more curious about this, I picked up a katana off the floor and skewered myself through the stomach. Still no pain or blood or anything. When I tried pulling it out, it actually tickled. O_o Then the thought entered my mind that every normal function in my body was "frozen in time" or something, yet I could still continue to move and think. I was alone in this dream and the surroundings were foggy...and I spent the rest of it trying to make sense of what was going on with myself and being driven nuts about it. 
I wonder if it's supposed to mean anything. lol
Another was one of those "falling asleep within a dream" moments last night. It both creeps me out and makes me laugh at the same time.
When I was "awake," I heard my own voice in my head saying, "I'm here, but I'm not here. Where am I?" Then when I closed my eyes, I could "see" a grayish fog starting to fill the room. Then somehow I could see the image of myself sleeping, and that image like...split into a translucent double-image. o_o And I felt like I was getting lighter and lighter...like I was starting to float. That was the point I started "falling asleep" because my head felt like a balloon filling with helium. xd
But when I woke up (for real xP), that "I'm here, but I'm not here. Where am I?" thought still lingered in my mind.
Creepy.
