~Welcome to the Onyx Tavern~
 In a city caught in the middle of worlds, where races and species of all kinds all live together, wether they like it or not. Some sent here as a safe haven from their home, others forced to live there, but any other way races clash and live in this city of Kelvar.
In the not so calm nights, The Onyx Tavern is the popular gathering place for all races. Where fights are bound to happen when rival races gather, and romance is bound to bloom, The Onyx Tavern welcomes all.
Contrasting to it's name, The Onyx Tavern is as modern as anyother club or bar. With two stories adorned with bars and dancing floors, private rooms and a highend resteraunt; and even a third floor, an open balcony with a perfect view of the city's skyline. ~Rules~

Personality: She is very outgoing and confident; she knows when she needs to be serious and when she can just be lazy. She loves to have crazy fun and tends to keep things interesting one way or another.
Bio: Her father owns The Onyx Tavern, but left her in charge when she was 18 after working there since she was 13. Her father is the shadow demon, and her mother of course is the vampire. Her mother disappeared when Selene was at a fairly young age so she doesn’t remember her mother that much. Other than that she prefers to not talk too much about her past.Her father recently died and she inhertied new powers from that which she is trying to overcome.

Bio: She was taken in by Rayne when she was a young kitten, and has been taken care of by the Hiriko family since then. So now she helps Rayne around the Tavern since she has nothing better to do during the night.

Weapon: two custom 10mm guns, legendary elemental Light sword.
Personality: has a serious persona about her, she’s not the hyper and cheery type. Though she falters from the stoic/cold expression when she is usually around Igin, where she has a softer, kind expression and personality.
Bio: She was thoroughly involved in the demonic wars and the angel vs demon and the demon vs vampire wars back in the old day. From those wars she has gained quiet a reputation within many of the races, not only because of her fighting styles but of her general appearance. Her white wings are not normal of the demon race (of course) so she’s considered an albino of the race. She was well known as Demonic Ghost or just Ghost during the wars, one reason being why she’s called Ghost is because she has the ability to make herself transparent and intangible. She’s actually a mix of a few demonic races, though the races are unknown seeing as she wants that to be kept to herself. She used to have a tribal mark on her left arm and shoulder which was the mark of her being “Ghost” it was a curse brought onto her from Celesse (Rayna) the Elemental being of light. Akida had killed Celesse’s children in order for her to gain more power, so Celesse cursed her. Akida eventually got revenge by absorbing Celesse into her own being, ceasing the curse. Though recently she had to release Celesse so she could kill Katsuro (Selene’s father who was dead) by way of using the Grim Reaper. Though when she did that it reawakened her curse mark, and in reaction, Igin gave his own soul to truly break the curse and save her from dieing again. Later after recovering, Akida was able to bring him back to life through a bet/bargin with the Reaper.

Gaian Name: Vox Solreium Name: Vox Solreium Gender: Male Age: 352 Race: Elvan Appearence:  Weapon: Katana Personality: Quiet, keeps to himself. Very fool hardy, if he sees someone in need of help, he's more then likely to give it, dispite the situation. Bio: He was raised in a city well away from Kelvar. But after several raids upon his Elvan homeland, they chose to leave to a safer and more secluded domain. Vox did not, he chose to investigate the origin of these attacks, and if at possible, end them himself. He's been in Kelvar ever since. Other: He's proficiant with any form of weapon, he especially enjoyed multi-wielding. At one time he had a paracitic being upon his back which allowed a 6 bladed multi-wield. Although due to it's destructive nature, Vox ended up destroying it. He is now his normal Elvan self, being forced to draw on his past nature and abilities. He's finding it to be rather difficult, although Selene had aided greatly in making him feel at home. He now acts as a bouncer in the Tavern, although he's more often then not found in the corner drinking tea. He's also engaged to Selene, and since of getting rid of the paracite,he has recieved a younger one which he was able to manipulate and prevent one like the one he had before. After a catastrophic event which took place within his base and demolished it he had left while it was to be repaired. Sadly without funds he never completed it’s repair and ended up living within the tavern and his lab below the base. The lab was where he created Volios a paracite which, at a point later on, would gain the ability to transform into a human form. Due to the lack of control over his darker side Igin was aided by Akida in the purification of his demonic energies. He battled with it for some time, losing control allowing the darkness to overcome his body. If it hadn’t been for Akida he would have lost control, and possibly have died. He gave up his life to remedy Akida of her curse mark under the promise he’d be fine, although he knew he would die. Akida resurrected him with a deal with the reaper, and by successfully controlling the darkness as he was created he became a single being. Other: When he needs to he can tap into his demonic energy and alter his appearance. He becomes faster, stronger and more resilient to elemental energies while in his demonic form. While in his normal form he is naturally agile, dexterous, and highly intelligent. He does not lose mental stability while in his demonic form, although he does whenever Akida is harmed. Gaian Name: Vox Solreium Name: Luo Kilmaunte Gender: Male Age: 24 Race: Human Appearance:  Weapon: One handed Sword designed for him, by him, and can only be weilded by him Personality: Quick witted, reletively kind, sarcastic Bio: He may be human, but due to an enchantment at birth he can increase the magical flow of energy through his body to increase all of his physical stats. He's often mistaken by demons as one of their own by the sheer amount of magical essense he possesses. So long as his spirit is not removed from his body he can litterally bring himself from death. He once worked for Igin, but was appalled by Igin's lack of respect in battle. He left and found himself meeting a being who was in need of aid. With great difficulty Luo managed to remove the magical seal that prisoned the being. The being then chose to follow Luo until death granting him the gift of great power. Other: He has a pet Hawk named Talon who he can communicate with telepathically. Talon is an immortal being, one of the 7 elemental immortals. Bio: He was born into a noble family in his world. This world was always in a state of war and technology never advanced much past the sword. Being of noble birth meant that he had to be taken away from his family at an early age to begin his training to be a knight. At the age of 14, he became a full knight. He was known to his king's enemy's as a demon and known as a savior to his people. He recently fell into a void that took him between dimensions and into a city called Kelvar. ~Events~ Gone for a while? Did the RP all of a sudden jump from Pg 10 to Pg 783 while you were out?What happened?!
A thing which often happens in RPs, hence I will update this as much as possible with what is going on. I'll keep each update up,so new comers can read what has happened without having to read waste a post on asking, hence creating an easier flow in the rp.~~~ It is now a good deal after the events that last occurred within and around the tavern. Igin left once his base of operations had been repaired. Vox leaves for a while to gain control of whatever it was that caused him to lose his temper. Eventually he returns to the tavern, beaten and bruised, but all in all, in a very enthusiastic mood. The spider like creature rested gently upon his back, the legs adhering to his sides and shoulders as before. It appears to have grown larger then the first one Vox once had. But it seemed to be humming a tune in sync with Vox. Vox ended up proposing to Selene, and Selene has accepted.
As time passed it was clear that the past parasite Vox had destroyed that was taking over him, still had some remnants within his mind, causing Vox to go basically mad and crazy. Meanwhile, Igin ended up taking Volios, who he had raised for the soul purpose of Vox, saying that this power, or new energy' was poisoning Volios and he needed to heal Volios. While examining him he discovered that because of this massive amount of energy the Volios had taken in, he could actually receive a trait from the next person for him to feed off of. So in a rush he brought Volios back to the tavern and asked for Ari, after telling Ari what could happen,she agreed. So Volios took a small amount of Ari's blood which enabled him to be able to transform into a humanoid form.
Meanwhile Vox and Selene were up on the roof, Vox fighting against the evil in the new power he had gotten, Pri's fault, Selene comforting him. Finally he overcame it, and ended up passing out.
During the days Ari and Volios began to grow closer as Volios was now 'human', and they ended up falling in love. During Vox's sleep also some dark magic beings came to the tavern wanting to take Volios with them, Akida and Volios both fought and defeated them, though Volios did end up getting a little injured. The next day Vox woke up, mostly everyone was happy other than Volios since he had been trying to tell Ari that he liked her but something always interrupted him from telling her. Vox consoled him for a while then left, Volios ended up going inside, Ari greeted him, then Akida and Selene left the room so then they could talk. Though once again they were interrupted as a woman came to the tavern and basically passed out. When the woman woke up, she clung on to Volios, Ari got upset about it and confined herself in her room. Later Volios found her,comforted her,then finally got to tell her, and so they cuddled in her room for a while,making out.
During this whole time with the woman, Selene and Igin had also been making out, they left to their room when Akida interrupted them, leaving Akida alone once again while the couples were together. Igin came once again, and soon Luo cam in as a new person, Luo and Igin fought, Luo beat him, but then Igin later on shot him, though it didn't effect Luo that much, Akida got really pissed because Igin had broken the rule of the tavern once again, he ended up passing out,and with that Akida sent him off in the middle of a desert in the middle of no where, and the same happened to his guns so he couldn't use them.
With that taken care of, after some chatting between Akida,Luo and Talon, Selene and Vox finally came out and greeted Luo. Luo and Vox reconized each other, Vox is Luo's Uncle, and so they are havign a happy reunion.
Meanwhile a new person has come onto the scene of Kelvar, having been thrown into this dimension from his home dimension.

Selene walked into the Tavern, having been out taking care of a few affairs which needed her attention. She gave out a small sigh as she looked around the partially empty tavern, other than her employees and a random drunk, it wouldn't get busier till later that night.
She smirked as she called out," Hey Ari?! I'm surprised you haven't burnt down the place while I was gone!!!"
Ari appeared from around the corner from the kitchen,her ears having perked up as she heard her name.
"Wha???....OH!!! You meanie I wouldn't do that! I'm not THAT bad! Plus Vox and Volios are around here somewhere...and you know they wouldn't let this place burn down."
Selene smirked as she walked to the bar and poured herself a glass of wine," Oh I know..."

Vox appears from behind the counter with a fresh cup of tea. "No problem with her." He says with a smirk as he walks towards the drunkard and helping him out of his seat. "Volios on the other hand, he came across a magician's flame sphere and nearly set the entire place ablaze." Having assisted the man out of the tavern and watching him sway as he walked, Vox turned around and sat in his normal seat in the corner near the door. "I don't know where Volios went after that, he's probably hiding in the basement getting into something or another." He says jokingly, taking a drink of tea from his cup.

Selene smirked a little," Of course....wait the basement....." She looked to Ari, she knew he was joking,but it didn't hurt," Hey Ari can you go check downstairs for me?"
Seeing as she had turned the basement into a blood bar for vampires a long time ago, it was probably good to make sure that nothing wrong was going on. Vampires were always there, day or night, it was one of the reasons why her Tavern was almost always open.
Ari smirked,nodding," I'll get right on it." She smiled as she went towards the basement,transforming into her kitten form then running off. She figured if she found him down there, she could pounce on him unexpected.
Reaching the blood bar she looked around the poorly dimmed part of the bar,looking through the vampires who were there.
Selene smiled lightly as she watched Ari leave, walking to Vox she went up to him and hugged him from behind. Giving him a small kiss on the cheek, she smirked and walked to her seat across from him.
"So I didn't miss anything while I was away?"

"No, nothing. It was rather dull while you were gone." He says with a sigh, rubbing his bruised knuckles. "Aside from Igin showing up for a couple of drinks." He takes the cup in hand, and drinks the rest of the tea.
Near a wall there was an elderly looking vampire speaking to a dark object on the table. "So do vampires like to drink blood?" The dark object spoke in a childlike voice, it was obviously Volios. "Not all do, many take pride in their abilities. Others, such as myself, would rather not harm mortals if it were possible." The elderly vampires motions towards a group of vampires in the corner. "Steer clear of those three, they wouldn't hesitate to kill you. Many vampires do not like your kind little one." He adds, patting Volios on his back and drinking from a tall glass of thick red liquid.

Selene almost gave out a small growl herself, seeing the bruises on his knuckles . She took a sip of her wine as she calmed herself down though.
" Did he do anything other than drinking??"
Ari quickly found Volios, she knew of the elderly vampire,he came here often, so she knew nothing was out of place. Smirkeing she stalked up to them,knowing the vampire had spotted her,but she was quick enough to jump up and pounce right on top of Volios.
"MEW!!" She let out a purr of glee,one way to let him know that no one was trying to kill him,it was just her.

"He came to inform me that he's finished the repairs of his agency, and demanded that I come work with him." He says silently, setting down the cup and rubbing his right hand. "Obviously, I declined."
Volios screeches in fright, he had been so occupied with the interesting old man, that he hadn't noticed Ari approaching. Sadly, he hadn't composed himself in time, for the group of vampires turned their attention towards him and began approaching the table slowly.

Ari felt bad for scaring him,yet seeing the vampiers come towards him she quickly jumped off of him and landed on the floor,transformed into her neko form. She knew they would know who she was,and that if there was a problem she would get Selene.
She looked to the Vampires walking towards them," Is there a problem guys?"
Selene smiled lightly,nodding," Thats good."
She gently reached over and took his bruised hand, messaging it for him,thankfully she had a knack for messages.

Vox smirks, and says nothing, he didn't feel right about something. He appeared distracted, and peered past the counter.
The vampires glare at her, and stop for a moment. "...we want that thing...get out of our way. We know that thing is a paracite, so we'll accept the resposibility to get rid of it." The leader says with a smirk pushing his way past Ari and approaches the table.
The elderly man stands upright and turns around to face the group. "This being is with me, I suggest you leave now." He says threateningly, his arms hidden by his cloak.

Selene smiled lightly,but she noticed he was distracted, and there seemed to be a lot more noise from downstairs, at least with her fine hearing she could pick that up.
She looked back to Vox," You thinking about the same thing I am?"
Ari almost growled as they pushed past her, sad that she didn't really have much power to do anything she went upstairs and found Selene and Vox.
"Selene, Vox....uhhh...there may be something you want to check out, calm down these vampires from hurting Volios."
Selene sighed lightly, something was always going on with those group of vampires who seemed to hate Volios." Just as I thought..."

Vox clenches his fists and walks past them both. "If you would excuse me." He says politely, yet through his teeth. He makes his way downstairs, as he passes the counter, he grabs his bushel of swords.
By that time Volios was being chased by the two other vampires leaving the leader fighting with the elderly man. Volios hurries towards the stairs, but is cut off by one of the vampires. He prepared to attack the stunned Volios, but was suddenly grappled from behind and a blade impaled through his body. It missed his heart so he wouldn't die, but it undoubtably would leave a mark.
"Could you explain to me why it is you're attacking my friend?" Volios asks furiously before he drags the sword out of the vampires body and throws him into the other vampire.
