The World Tree, this incredibly large tree is a well-known landmark here at Mahora, even to the point of having it's own website. This oddly large tree is seen from any spot at Mahora so finding it is no problem at all, it is revered as a somewhat romantic spot and among these all..other strange properties have been noted about the tree...
Edit for benefit of the Festival - The world tree, now looks completely pink with small splots of green from it's original growth. The pink tree looks out onto the pavement, which is now home to many scattered cherry blossoms.

Ah, the World Tree, one of my favorite spots around campus. I usually hang around this place after school...

Stephen stopped a short distance from the enormous mass of life, that the school had dubbed 'The World Tree', most probably because of it's size. The large tree took up so much space that it had it's own complete area, said that the school was built around it as opposed to it growing up later. "Big huh?" Stephen muttered, considerably less enthusiastic then the prior 30 second burst that happened for some reason or another.

"It's huge!!" She said spreading her arms out and waving them in a circle, "Stephen-kun are you tired...? You just had a sudden energy crash.... xd " she laughed at the last part.

He laughed, "No..Im not, you see what happens when Im all....'emotional'(for lack of a better word), so I dont act like that alot.....guess it just 'popped' out". He laughed. "Or I could have just had too much sugar." He grinned walking towards the tree.

She tilted her head in confusion and then quickly followed him again, "So why did you choose here any way...?"

He stood face to face with her, and tilted his head down abit to her level. Then said in a suprisingly serious tone coming from him, "Listen..there's something I've been wanting to tell you for a long time..." his hand found its way from it's pocket and to the back of his head.

She tilted her head, 'maybe he found out that threw that rock at his head last year in homeroom....o_o oh no...' she thought nervously, she smiled nervously, "Yesh? sweatdrop "

His serious attitude quickly faded, "Your hair still looks a complete mess." He said with a large smile, then turned back towards the tree quickly after. The boy slowly stopped infront of the tree close enough to feel it, which...in fact he did. "Come here.." He muttered waiting for her to follow.

She tilted her head, as she always does when she is confused, she walks over to him.

He took her hand and placed it on the tree. "Feel anything besides tree bark...and probably a few bugs?" This would seem completely odd, but he had a reason.

"Umm... no...?" she said incredibly nervously, 'OMG.... his hand is like touching mine....o_O' she said biting her lip and getting butterflies in her stomach.

((XDD too bad Stephen-kun is about as perceptive as a tree stump))
Stephen took his hand away after a few seconds, "Hm..allright then." He stood focusing on the tree for a bit, then turned back slowly. "That's all...you wanted to see where Umi-kun went right?" This was pretty rhetorical as he, somewhat grabbed her hand and pulled her to get her started then let go and began walking off.
