"The vocalist of a visual kei band was arrested on charges of strangling a female friend, whose injuries took a week to heal. The suspect, Miyawaki Wataru (27) of the visual rock band 12012, was arrested on suspicion of these injuries. On August 12, at a friend's house in Toshimaku, Tokyo, the suspect Miyawaki was drinking with five friends, where he got into an argument and allegedly strangled a a 21 year old female, whose injuries took a week to heal. At that time, due to the suspect's drunken state, in regards to a police investigation, charges are now being made."
