I've noticed that too D: It's not too bad here though. Livin' in Ohio. We're quiet on stuff like that. Though if you're caught, in most places you will be ridiculed. :c It's terrible. Though I'm straight as far as I know. I don't care much though. My school is lacking in ANYONE worth crushing on xD

i've noticed that too. i mean i live in florida and my school is pretty collectively open with those who are gay/lesbian/bi but i personally haven't told many peole that i am bi because the only ones who want to know are ignorant asses who will just terrorize me for it

Well, I'm still kinda trying to figure out what I am. I mean, sure I like girls, but I think I like boys more. I've talked to my friend about it, but she just said that that's ok and that your bi, but have a prefrence. I dont know if I should belive that or take my mom's advice (yes I told my mom and she's ok with it) and be with whichever makes me the happiest. rolleyes Corny I know, but I follow that way of living; be happy. I've always been that way. I'm actually a pretty happy person

At my school there are a lot of kids who are gay or bi, and everyone is pretty much ok with it, but yeah, under the surface there's still a bit of an uncomfortable feeling from people if there's any pda. As for me, I think I'm bi, but I just can't say for sure yet (otherwise straight)

I'm more inclined to girls, but I like guys too. Well, over here in NC, I haven't seen anything against us, but I've heard some pretty nasty stuff that's been done in the past. I don't go announcing it, but I make no effort to hide it. The cool thing is, at school, there are a lot of us around, we just have to find each other!

well.
i live in texas.
and go to an all girls CATHOLIC school.
i'm bi also.
sweatdrop

girls at my school are pretty chill about sexuality/orientation.
but once you establish your sexuality here, everyone knows.
i'd like to state that as long as i don't hit on any girls at school,
they're fine with me being bi.

I think it's because America is really heavily believed in their religion or in the Bible where it states along the lines of being gay or lesbian is wrong. This is just something that I'd learned from American History. It might be one of the facts but I don't know the level of hostility towards homos since I don't live in the States. Where I live, they promote having equal rights for homo. We are more open but there are people strongly against gays and lesbians

Sadly, that is very true, and it pains me that the U.S. is like that.
In my school, in California, we're very open about that, and we support those who are like that.
But that's only on the surface, for I know a handful who feel uncomfortable about the whole ordeal.
I, personally, believe that you can chose what ever sex you prefer to like. As long as you believe you're making the right decision.
It's funny how kids in my school think I'm gay because I care deeply for gays/lesbians enough to violate the school-uniform code and where a gay-supporter shirt. (Which I got detention for. xp ) And that I walked in a gay-support parade.
I'm a huge supporter for it, that I actually ended up crying when they passed prop-8. (Which I went around and scratched people's cars who had it's bumper-sticker).
I believe that other people have no right to decide other people's fate/love.
Isn't the U.S. the land of the free?
When in reality, we are denying the rights that any human being should be allowed to have.
I really hope for things change, even though I have a doubt.
But then again, life can surprise you.
(Oh, I’m straight, by the way.)
