Azriphael crouched upon the porcelain roofs tiles gazing at the cream moon glaring straight back at her, dancing across the black pool of a sky. in the distance she could hear the faint sound of gun shots and screams. She smiled for the first time in days, it squirmed on her face and suddenly died.
The memories of the Hunters had brought that excuse of a smile to her face but the memories of that dragged with it what had happened only days before.
The death of her partner not only meant a great loss to all the Hunters, but it also meant the loss of two of their finest members. When you become a Hunter you are given a partner, not just a partner, but a partner for life. when you loose that special person you do not only fight with the feelings of grief, but also with guilt, from not saving them, from not dieing trying.
Now She is alone with no partner. because she didnt try hard enough. even just for that split second. but it was long enough.
Is life really now worth living? your whole life taken from you, your love, your home, your family. and yet, she is still here, being tortured by destiny's will.
