This will be shipped back into the Japanophila forum later, I just wanted people to see it, Cause I'm suddenly quite rabid for this show. And since nothing new's been really happening in the realm of OSR...I just want fellow fans to converse about it with me!!
*bounces off walls*
Anyway, who likes? I know quite a few of you are fans, judging by some of the sigs I've seen...

I'm late coming into the fandom, but I have seen just about every episode so far, and I gotta say, it's a pretty cool little show. Like OSR, it's considered a "kids show," but it has deeper themes to it as well, and the characters are deeper than your typical "kids show." It's even darker, especially towards the last few episodes of the second season.
September 21st, people, Book 3!!

I totally agree with you that it does the same thing OSR does in the whole "It's a kids's show, but not really" thing. It's painted like this little kiddy show, but then you have the deepness of the characters, the betrayals, the *cough* love, the complexities that the characters have to go through... Wow... heart And yeah, definately darker near the end... *thinks of "Crossroads of Destiny" and the whole Ba Sing Se thing whee ... Poor Jet emo *
As for me, I've been a fan ever since they first started playing trailors for it. whee I saw the first episodes (they played the first two together) and was hooked for life. 3nodding
I love your little doodle!! rofl Zuzu!! heart I gotta say, Zuzu is one of my favorites. 3nodding He's probably the deepest and most complicated character in the show. 3nodding He and Toph are my favorites right now. 4laugh Yeay for Toph!! 4laugh

I'm down to 9 hours. I have A:TLA 6:30 written on my arm so I do not forget! (I sometimes have habits of forgetting prime time shows, that included OSR, back when it was on at reasonable times...)

I know, Zuko is one of the most awesome characters I've seen, and I love his ever-changing hairstyle^^ I'm so glad he got rid of his baldy-ponytail, too xd I'm still betting that he's going to turn-coat and some how or another help the Gaang against his evil sister. Aang still even needs to master Fire bending as well, he'll need a sifu! Hint hint, Zuzu! Or even Iroh. Oo

Ach, I know, poor Jet, that was such a sad episode crying Oh, and on the subject of love in the show, well, the fabled shipping wars are probably going to start up again; I actually found something while running around on Deviantart that said that there is going to be a sure pairing by the end of the third season. That Katara will either end up with Aang or Zuko! *bounces of walls*

*sigh* Yeah, I have a longer wait... crying But I will enjoy it anyway! biggrin
Zuko is awesome!! heart And you didn't like the pony tail? Really? Huh... Yeah, I didn't mind it. Yeah, he looks awesome with more hair whee , but the pony tail worked for me. And yeah, I think he's gunna eventually start helping the gang too. He has to! whee I insist!! ninja Although, if/when that happens, I doubt many people will be surprised. Through the whole show all he wanted was to have his honor back, and to do that, he thought he had to capture the Avatar. Now that he gets to go back to the fire nation, I think he'll realize he's not happy, and realize that what makes him happy is being true to himself. 3nodding He's done too many things that were right and that, even if not directly, helped the Avatar gang. He resqued Aang, he freed Apa, he sided with Iroh when they saw Azula at Ba Sing Se... He's just too good to be bad! whee
eek It'll be decided for real!! *faints* Well it's about time!!! scream Yeah, I'm hoping for Kataang personally... And no... I won't shoot you... I'll just hit you with one of Momo's ears. ninja

Yeah, Zuko won me over when he saved Aang in disguise as the Blue Spirit! ^^ Then right after that I saw 'the Storm' and he won me over even more! He was always so much more honorable than his father and much of his nation...
And the ponytail was cool and all, but then I saw him with longer hair! But Zuko looks good however he goes...And The ponytail has significance to his kingdom, anyway, that's also how I see it, as him severing ties with his father, even if that only lasted for a while...

eek Wow... Just got done watching the epi... Wow... eek
Well, major points:
I loved the whole simularities between Aang and Zuko, awesome as always. 3nodding heart I always love it when they do that. 3nodding
Azula is EVIL!! scream Although I must say, props on the whole catching Zuko in her snare... But still... EVIL!!
That was cool how so much stuff has happend since Ba Sing Se fell... Wow... *head still reeling* Not sure how I feel about Aang with hair though... whee
And I must say, I started to tear when Aang's glider burned. crying Very sad part...
All-in-all, awesome epi!!
Now, your comments... *reads* Oh yeah, Blue Spirit forever!! 4laugh One of my favorite epis of all time, that. 3nodding And yeah, the parallels they show in "The Storm" are awesome too. I love all the back story they show. heart
And yeah, the severing ties with his father was a very critical scene. whee Then he has to go and throw all that away!! scream ... *breath* ... domokun

haha, Agreed, Azula is Teh Evil...I wonder just how much more evil than Ozai she is...And did you see those freaky old twin crones? D: I usually like twins!

Yeah, I was sad to see the glider go, too...Well, he's still got Appa and Momo, anyway...
And I'm impressed that they got a little bit of father-daughter angsty dialogue going! This and OSR are the only cartoons/possibly animes that deal with that! and Katara's voice actress did so well with putting actual emotion into that part too, I thought it was awesome^^

Yeah, I've been wondering if Azula or her dad are more evil... whee Ozai seems more power hungry, Azula seems more... twisted. *joins in fetal position* Azula always lies... Azula always lies... ninja
And yeah, creepy twins. *shudder* From another epi, it looks like thoes two trained Azula on how to firebend and stuff. 'Cause there's one scene where Azula's practicing her lightning and the creepy twins are watching.
Yes! whee Iroh needs to be out of jail! scream ninja Although sadly, I don't think Zuko's gunna be the one to do it... Not yet anyway. If my sources are to be believed, he does talk to him in the next episode. But Zuko's still trying to fit in in the Fire Nation for now, so I don't think he'll free him... yet... ninja That would be so cool if Toph did it! 4laugh I would love to see that! It's so cool that thoes two became such good friends. 3nodding
Yeah, Aang still has Apa and Momo... And Katara, Sokka and Toph. So he still has people who care for him (which he'll need), but it's still sad that he had to loose his glider. crying The only thing he had left from the monks really...
Yeah, that scene with Katara and her dad was intense. eek I wasn't expecting that one. Sokka's all ok with his dad, and happy to see him, then Katara comes out all scream !! Wow... Yeah, very OSR of them.

BOOK THREE! OMG >_______< *fangirl scream* SO good. < 3 I can't even start in how much I loved it, much less the show it's self.
Guess I am the only Azula fan in the world xD Although she makes me very happy to be an only child. >.<
Poor, poor Zuzu *pas head* should have taken sides with Iroh and Aang and Katara but NOOOOOOO. Because you're sister has been so wonderful to you in the past xD

Because you're sister has been so wonderful to you in the past xD Gawd, Zuko has had the best and the worst luck when it comes to family. He's got Iroh, which totally rocks, and his mother, but he's also got Azula and Ozai, and his mother is gone! T.T and he went and betrayed Iroh... Oof, I do believe he'll make all that up in this season though. He must! :O

Yeah, someone needs to slap some sense into that boy... And he needs to free his uncle before he's executed! XP But I can sort of understand his problem, for so long it's been engraved in his mind that he needs his father's approval to supposedly regain his honor...
Well, News for him, He's always had more honor than his father, even as a banished prince, and even against his enemies! Now it's just Azula and Ozai(not so much, but still) playing with his head and his emotions. He needs to realize who his real friends are.
