What do you play?
Why do you play it?
What would you like to play?
Generally talk about the music you play and what you play it on.
Let me start you off,
I play a keyboard (for those who would like to know I have two, the better one being my Yamaha PSR-E403)
I can play alot of Metallica and some Megadeth. I know bits of alot of artists too but its mostly tthose two.
I am considering learning bass so I can be in Zalins band that he and a friend are forming.
Now it's your turn

I play the cello, and my cello's name is Maewen.
I play the cello because my mum plays the cello so I've heard lots of cello stuff from an early age so it seemed natural that I start playing. I started nearly 8 years ago, when I was 7. I'm now principal cellist in the county orchestra and my school orchestra, who are the national champions 2 years running.
I played guitar for a bit, but I was so bad I stopped, and I try to play the piano, and usually fail. I also have singing lessons.
I usually play classical stuff like Bach, Feuillard, Vivaldi, Saint-Saens, Poulanc, but I also round up some fellow cellists and play some apocalyptica now and again.

I don´t play a "complete" instrument (meaning that I know a little of it, so Im not very good at enything -_-)
Guitar, Piano, and flute are the instruments that I can play.
I NEED to learn cello, but Im busy with school almost every day so I think that I will not be able to learn anything.
I didnt finish any of my music lessons, because I was a weird kid, that wanted to enter a new class, but invented some escuse for not going to class. I was a very stupid and idiot kid U-_-.

Oh yeah I used to play tinwhistle and a recorder (which is quite similar)

oh yeah, I played the recorder until I was about 8! Obviously the coolest instrument around! =P

I want a black one though, not the silly cream one i had years ago. I have a “temporary” loan of my friends bass guitar that he doesn't use so i'll have it for a good while haha

Well i play guitar, but im a beginner, so i wont brag much. Cant actualy play anything, only bits of some songs. O, wait. Apocalyptica - Somewhere Around Nothing. The lead part was kinda easy so i have that down

Haha yeah SAN is easy song but sounds so cool. I know a bar two from the Apoc song Kaamos I believe on keyboard

Some time has past. From Apocalyptica i can play Somewhere Around Nothing, Quutamo, Life Burns and Path now. Many easy rock and punk songs aswell

Haha cool. Keyboards are so easy to mess around with, you cant hit a note badly like

Yeah, thats a problem with cellos, it's so easy to get stuff out of tune. I've been trying to play the Apoc version of Hall of the Mountain king, but it's so much harder than the original version!

I have the sheet music, but they play it in a really evil key, compared to the original... I shall have to keep practicing.

Yeah the way I play it on keyboard starts off with E. Would that be the key its in lol?
Tried playing my girlfriends fiddle there about a week ago. A fiddle is exactly the same as a violin, the only difference between em is the music you play on it. If its classical you're playin a violin, if its traditional then it's a fiddle. I had a go and struggled to maintain a pleasant sounding free note which leaves me to say this, pip my hat goes off to you.
