These are the gardens of the shiningblade castle, known for their lush colors, and fragrant smells. Said to even rival the Enkil family's gardens.

Lina is sitting next to a small waterfall in the lush, beautiful gardens. Tears streak down her cheeks, but she makes no sound as she cries. There's already a small pile of tear shaped jewels in her lap. They're different shades of blue, signifying they were tears shed in sadness. Emmy enters the gardens, leading the man with the fascinating voice. She soon spots Princess Lina by one of the small waterfalls located within the gardens. She sighs softly and shakes her head.

Garron followed along beside, and only a little behind her as he followed her through the streets towards the Castle. Memorizing the route, and all the buildings, and paths and such. Devoting them swiftly to memory, for future referance as they then entered the courtyard, and headed for the Gardens. If Garron were to actually pay any notice to such things, he might've thought the Garden was truly beutiful, and amazing. Instead, all he saw were a lot of flowers and shrubbery aligned in symetrical, and articulate design, for which he had no interest. Then they spotted the Princess, sitting near a small waterfall in the large garden, crying. Garron frowned ever so slightly, and moved his right hand down to the velvet pouch, wondering when he'd have to collect all these precious gems she was dropping by the moment. If he'd at all cared, he might've wondered what she was crying about, but at te moment... He didn't know her at all well enough to give garfs arse about it. Instead, he'd simply follow his escort... He'd need to learn her name for referance, and informational purposes, so he'd know who to contact if anything should arise. But that could wait until they parted.

Emmy moves forward, she obviously isn't very pleased at all. "Princess Lina, I do hope we have not caught you at a bad time. I have brought someone to meet with you." Lina looks up at Emmy. "Not at all, Emmy." Her voice is soft and slightly choked by her suppressed sobs, yet it still holds a slightly enchanting quality. "Forgive me for my appearance.." She stops by Lina's side and shakes her head slightly, fighting back the urge to take the princess. She smiles slightly. "Lina, do stop that. It isn't very polite and you know it." She glances back at the one she is escorting. "This is to be your new bodyguard...."

Garron stops at a respectful distance away, hands at his side, his parma still held in his left hand down at his side as he bowed his head towards the Princess, as was required. Then stood silently, face impassive and indifferant to their conversation. Though his eyes instantly picked out, located, and memorized the position of every tear gem, those that had rolled off the girls lap and those that hadn't. Then as his ascort introduced him, and obviously hinted towards him introducing himself, he nodded with a slight smile, a friendly one, but not one that would make you instantly like him... That wasn't his style, the less this girl liked him the easier this job would be. "My appologies for not introducing myself sooner M'lady. I go by Garron Malcious... My true title is longer then is needed, so Garron will suffice for now." He said with another slight bow of his head, directed towards both women.

"Garron..." Lina quickly commits the feel of his aura to memory. Should anything happen, she must now go to this man. She doesn't like the idea. She was very close with her lasy guard and had known him for a very long time. Emmy nods and looks back to Lina. "I must be on my way now, Lina. I have other duties to see to as you know..." She seems to pale and her eyes grow wide in an attempt to hold back fresh tears. "I... I know... Please, Emmy..." She turns away abruptly, now facing Garron more than Lina. She has a slightly pained look in her eyes which are now a deep blue that match most of the jewels in Lina's lap. "I will see it is done properly, Lina." She leaves rather quickly.

Garron watched in silence as all this happened. He'd felt the girl, Lina scanning his aura, which he could have easily prevented, but there was no need, it was not done in an agressive way. Not that it'd help her even if she had ment it so. He watched as Emmy, as that was the woman's name, left suddenly with some mission of purpose painfully clear in her eyes. However, what she did now was not his concern, now he had to concern himself with this girl. He then returned his attention towards the girl as she continued to hold back this seemingly continuous wave of woe and sobbing. He stood silently by, hands at his side as he stretched his senses out all along the gardens and even beyond, listening, sensing, and searching for anyone, or anything that might prove harmful to the Princess. He was scanning for any auras about, keeping the differant scents organized, scanning the gardens, as well as asking Gaia to keep him informed of anything which walked upon her back within an alloted radius. Nothing was getting near this girl without him knowing about it.

"I'm sorry.. I must look like such a mess." Lina closes her eyes. After a few moments she stops crying. She opens her eyes again and carefully bends to pick up the jewels that had tumbled to the ground. "I tried not to let any fall off my lap. I suppose I didn't do a very good job of it though.. Father would be angry with me if anything happened to them...."

Your father is an obsessive, vindictive, and selfish wealth mongering fool is what he sounds like. Came the steely, smooth, powerful voice of Illior, who's moral standards were not at all met by all this. Garron quickly supressed the dragon once more before shrugging as he then looked down at himself, noting that he'd never wiped off the blood that was sprayed across his chest. He swiftly wiped some of it off with his right hand before looking back up, and then unfastening the velevet pouch and holding it out for her to deposit the gems into if she felt inclined to do so. "It makes little differance to me Princess." He said in his gruff, raspy, gutteral, baritone voice. It didn't make much differance to him, unless it effected his employment here, he didn't care what she did or looked like so long as he got paid.

She doesn't like the title. She hasn't in quite a few years now. Too long to mention. She did take note that his aura felt slightly different for a moment. She drops the tear shaped jewels into the velvet pouch. "My father obsesses over these little jewels. He no longer cries so he looks to me for them... Please call me Lina. I really hate the titles and formalities most saddle me with.. If my own father doesn't treat me like a princess, why should anyone else? He's a selfish man who is only interested in himself.."

Garron then closed up the pouch after she'd deposited the gems and made a sound of indifferance as he then tied it onto his belt once more. "Very well then." Was all he said in a reply as he continued to stand there, his eyes and senses once more roaming about the garden and castle, searching for anything that might prove dangerous to Lina.

He seems so cold... So much different from Jistol.... The thought of her previous guard hurts greatly. She had had a relationship with the man. It had been nothing overly serious, but he was a very close friend. They had known each other long before he decided to be her guard. She wishes he had never made such a choice since all it earned him was an early death. "I suppose that Emmy told you of what has been happening?"

ooc: Man that last post was a short one... confused
bic: Garron stood in silence, watching, and sensing everything about him as he stood guard. He took his jobs seriously, and as this one paid so well, he would not let it go awry. Thus he stood there, silent, until she finally spoke to him. He nodded in affirmation as he then replied saying, "Aye, that she did, attempts on your life have been made quite often recently." Was all he said as he continued to scan the garden around him with his icy blue eyes, his voice having been it's usual unusualness, as he'd said this. Stop acting so indifferant, she's only a child, and she'd hurting, and has a horrible life... You can at least try and loosen up a bit and make things a bit easier for her! Came the annoyed, insistant voice of Illior as he broke into Garron's thoughts once more. Garron growled inwardly as he pushed the dragon's preasance towards the back of his mind once more.

"Mmm.... 'You lose much when you live so long.' Emmy told me that the very first time I lost a guard. He was old though. I had expected him to die. Humans don't often live very long lives. I believe he was approaching the age of eighty. His body just couldn't handle the stress any longer." She watches the waterfall, the light mist from it hitting her face. "Emmy is right though... None have been lasting long lately... I had almost hoped she would not find me another.."

Garron listened intently, or about as intently as he could while still keeping tabs on anything that moved within a hundred yard radius. He nodded at the words of wisdom that Emmy had spoken. In all his long years, he'd not lost much... Only his life. In his first three life cycles, he lost everything, and was left with only himself, his life, and his fighting capabilities. Thus, he'd never really had anything to lose since then... But others often did, and he knew this readily enough after having lived as long as he had. "Such words are very true... Human lives are fragile, but at times, that's what makes their lives so much more full then the lives of those like us." He said with a shrug, ignoring the slight snicker of triumph that came from the back of his mind. Illior had made his point, and gotten Garron to do as he'd wished. He'd lightened up, a bit... For now.
