Alright fella's, this is an official guild, and the first Playstation 3 Guild to Gaia. Its high time I acted like I owned one.

Now, not too long ago, an update for the Playstation 3 arrived; Update 1.93.

I'm not sure what it does(I'm not sure anybody knows... O.o) But there has been alot of reported problems during the download.

The main problem being that the majority of people trying to download this update, cannot do so as it gets stuck on 4% and gives a message that it has lost connection. This has happened to me since it came out, and it is very annoying.

By users of the PS3, I have found REPORTED, ways of fixing this. (Note: These do not mean it will get it do download for you, but is something you should try.)

1. Disable your Media servers and try to download again. This has worked for some people, but not everyone.

2. Browse around the internet for a few hours and clear your cache and history, three or four people has said that had worked, but nothing happened on my end.

3. Keep trying over and over and over again. One person said that after 16-20 times of trying, it worked.

You cannot play your games online, cannot sign into your PSN account, and cannot connect to the Playstation Store.

Sadly to say, there is not at this minute a confirmed way to fix this problem. Nothing has worked for me, and I dearly hope it works for those of you who have not yet updated it.

I suggest you try a mix of everything up mentioned before, in that order, because it would fall into place if it did manage to fix it.

New Suggestions To Downloading The Update!

Alright, I've just downloaded the update, and I disabled and enabled the Media Servers and then tried it, it didn't then work, but after four more times, it finally took. I suggest you guys do that, then try to download it at least five times, because I got it in four tries after doing so.

No, not me. Not alot of people. Thats what most of this announcement was about. I've not been able to download anything.

No, no. Not a bug as in a virus. A bug as in a glitch. Because something isn't taking when it comes to getting the update. But its only been going to 4% with me and alot of people.

I see. Sorry, I must'a read it wrong. But hear hear! It is up and running now and I'm sure most people have downloaded the update.

i updated to 1.93 perfectly fine without any interuprtions.... oct. 5 its rumored that ps3 will shows its true power with its 2.0 update

You can bet there will be coverage from TOP3GOG all over it!
