Desparing news, jackpot winner, friend? Who calls? Putting down the sealed envelope in my hands, I walk to the receiver, picking it up, "Hello?"
No sound on the other end.
Until...
I heard voices, I didn't know who it was, "hello?" I pursue again.
Nothing, undefined silence, what I thought for a voice was just my own heavy breathing. Sighing, I place the reciever down on its black holder and go back to my sealed envelope. A mystery piece of mall, whatever could it be?
Not wanting to find out the contents of the envelope, I walk to the door and exit. Walking with a soft pitter patter of my feet against the concrete. Something was attracting my eyes as I looked at the ground while walking. What was it? I didn't know, so I walked closer, and it was a beautiful Twitterpit bird!
But looking up, I saw two men running, their sneakers giving them away as the people who want to capture all the rare birds, and put them in a zoo. The orange was bright, blinding me with sunlight. I had to stop them from getting this bird, so I shooed it away, watching it take flight with its splended faerie wings.
Aweing at the sight before me, I turn my attention back to the men in orange sneakers. "He went that way!" I point wildly, and running off.
"Get back here!" they shout, starting to run after me, holding their baby food green hats in place.
"He went to the broken clock in the center of the park! HURRY!" I never did figure out who the mystery caller was.
