Karen pushed her ATs left and right as she smoothly rode down the boardwalk. She was not dressed in all black, like others on her team. She was dressed in a pink skirt and a small white t-shirt that reveled a her flat Stomach.

"What a nice day just to be riding down the street" As she smiled, folding her arms over her head.

"But where are all the other Riders?" She asked to herself.

Devon stood on the far end of a pier stopping a football fields link out into the water. There, music was blaring as several of the natives faced of in a six on one breaking contest. The rider couldn't help but laugh at all the flips and cartwheels they did. Even though the crowd seemed enticed by it, when it came down to it, they weren't even break dancing. They'd start with a kick that barely missed the face and would go into a flurry of kicks. All six, members went, and Devon was left with the last half of the song.

He cleared the area enough for him to work his magic. From a quick six step to a wind mill to a hand spin, his moves were connected fluidly. Then In the middle of his spin, he leaned over to stand up only to go into a spin the opposite way, playing back his entire routine in reverse all the way back to when he was clearing himself some space. The whole crowd went silent with the music, and then one voice rose up. In a matter of moments, people were patting him on the back and stupidly trying to recreate his routine. "Remember kids," he said to the group of older boys, "when you break dance, somewhere in there, there should be some actual break dancing." He picked up his bag and turned to head home walking silently down the concrete path.

ty was riding along thinking to himhelf about what should he do now that hes in tokyo. stops and looks at a small AT store. rembering that he neads new wheels, but reaches into his pokets and notices that he has no money on him. so he goes up to a bench and starts practicing his grinds.

panting "there this enough practice" looking at the bench. then ty starts think about if his dad train around here. he lets out a huge sigh and decides to leave.

Devon bobbed his head to the music beating the fast pace rhythm of drums to into his skull, pushing the limits of his ear drum to their minimal limit. Nothing normal sound outside his inner world of techno would pierce his rock steady concentration as he glared at the three story wall before him. The red brick was granny and pores, unlike the smoother concrete of the sidewalks or flat black street and roads. Still, he had his rolled skates on and was gearing up to practice, something he defiantly needed. For the past few weeks he had been off in Brazil for the National Trick off. Of course he won the most award seeing as no one else could go from inline AT's to quads like he could. Still, there wasn't much technique used there, and the place, time, temperature, and even smell was completely diffrent. To get back to his best, he'd have to practice.

As the dark skinned teen reared back, he swung his leg out behind him as if to kick... and kick he did. He threw himself on the wall and in a series of three spins climbed up near the second story before loosing traction and returning to the ground. "Man I suck," he murmured looking towards his blue and red duffel bag housing his two pairs of AT's. He considered swapping out the regular pair of quads for the AT's but then that would defeat the purpose of mastering the trick. And his so his final decision was to try again. Which he did. A lot. Ten Times. Twenty Times. Thirty. Forty. Fifty. One hundred. Two hundred. Four Hundred. By this time he had lost count but he was persistent, and each try brought some progress or a little regression. Making only inches difference from the initial try. But where there were inches on regular skates, feet would come with AT's. The slight difference now, Devon knew, was far from pointless. And, thankfully, he found it fun, making a game against himself, ranking his improvement and regression like some tournament or later relating it to a game of roller basketball.

Rolling on the rickety wood of the boardwalk, Roku looks around for any sign of life. He had just moved here from New York and hasn't seen a single stormrider yet. Suddenly he sees someone rolling on the boardwalk. It was a stormrider, and a cute one at that. He rolled up to her and introduced himself,“Hello, I noticed your AT's and figured you were a stormrider. I was wondering if you knew of any teams thaf were recruiting.”He then stopped abd said toher.“Oh, where are my manners. My name's Roku. Do you mind me asking yours?”

Roku nodded in agreement. "Oh, okay, you're solo too. What's you're AT ability, mine's is speed."
