"You're too slow Kaoru, hurry up!" a girl's voice cut through the darkness of a deserted alley. "Yeah well that's easy for you to say!" a boy's voice shouted. It sounded a bit further away. There was a flash of sparks on a drainage pipe high above the alley floor. Then another. The girl laughed and then a loud clang rung out. Atop a building's watertower, a girl with orange hair was spinning slowly in place. Strapped to her feet were a pair of ATs. They were dark red in color and showed signs of wear. A small squeek came from one of the girl's wheels. "Tsk, I need new wheels..." There was a small flash of sparks below her. A second later, a boy with silvery-grey hair landed next to her. "You could have at least waited...Rae..." the boy gasped as he tried to catch his breath. Rae giggled. "You won't get any better that way, Kaoru~" Kaoru sat down and looked out over the city. "Immer glauben, dass du alles tun kannst deine Herzwünsche....." Rae sat down next to him and gave him a questioning glance. "It's a saying that my uncle used to tell me when I was younger. It means, 'Always believe you can do anything you heart desires.'....I mean.....I've been riding for about a year now but I don't feel like I've been getting any better...do I honestly have a chance to get as good as you are?" Rae smiled a bit. "I think I know your problem...." Rae looked up into the black sky and watched a plane pass high above. "You want to get as good as me, yet I'm not very good myself. Sure I've won a few battles here and there but I'm still a newbie compared to the better riders out there. So I think that instead of trying to be as good as me, try to be as good as better riders." Kaoru looked over at her. "Like your cousin?" Rae chuckled. "Yeah, he sounds like a good example of a better rider." a sad smile appeared on her lips. She and her cousin had been very close but two year before, he got into a fight with his parents which resulted in him getting disowned. She hadn't heard much from him since. Rae stood up and stretched her arms. "Well, we should be getting back. It's late." As soon as Kaoru was ready, the two of them leapt off the side of the watertower and disappeared into the inky blackness of the alley below.

"So you came, I see." Kaoru said aloud. He was riding a few yards slightly behind and to the right of Yori. Rae was nowhere to be found.

Kaoru landed near Yori riding backwards. "Yeah. Rae had to get something from somewhere but I think she'll be back soon." He turned around and faced foward. "We have a sort-of third member too but she doesn't come around much. Too busy." Kaoru sighed and shook his head. "It's a shame too because I think she's as good as, if not better than Rae."

Rae stopped by her apartment long enough to set down the bulging bags and get a quick bite to eat before she headed back out. "Now where could he be, I wonder...." she muttered to herself as she stepped out onto the sidewalk. After a moment, Rae rode over to a telephone pole and rode up it. This was one of her favorite way to get around. By riding on the wires, Rae could get to almost any place in the city she wanted, so long as she knew the way.

"Well.......I usually spend my time trying to improve my riding. Since we don't seem to get all that many challenges from other teams, I figured I might as well use the free time to improve." As he finished talking, his gut told him to move. And fast. Not even an instant after moving sharply to the right, Rae landed right where he used to be. "Yo." She winked at the two of them. "Whatcha up to?" Kaoru sighed. "You almost hit me...." Rae giggled. "Then I guess it's a good thing you moved, eh?"
She then turned her attention to Yori. "Ah~ You're one of the guys from last night, right? I don't think we've formally met yet." Rae held out her hand as she rode alongside Yori. "I'm Rae. Leader of Plan B."

Rae laughed softly. "Nice to meet you Yori. And welcome to Heaven." Kaoru couldn't help but roll his eyes a bit. "So.....what brings you to this neck of the woods?"


"See ya boss. I'm outta here." Kim waved goodbye to her employer at the store then walked through the door. A few moments later, she walked out of the shopping center and then down a nearby alley. In only a minute, Kim was strapped into her new pair of ATs and was rarin' to go. The only problem was that she had forgotten her phone at her house so she had no way of getting ahold of Rae. "I guess I'll go look for them....." Rather than traveling by rooftop, Kim preferred to ride at ground level. She stood on the side of the road. After a moment, she spotted what she was looking for. As a truck drove past, Kim grabbed onto it's bumber and held on tightly. Soon she built up enough of speed and was now able to ride alongside the traffic itself.

Rae saw Yori look around at all the many possibilities that Shinjuku offerred. "So.....are you interested in joining a team?" Kaoru spotted a metal fence and effortlessly lept onto the top rail. "There're lots of teams around here but most of them are really high rank......I doubt that even we could join them at our current level." Kaoru hopped back to the ground and sort-of cricled around Rae and Yori as they rode. "So if you are interested in joining a team, the only teams that would probably accept you and your two friends would be us and Kyouko over in Shibuya." Rae nodded in agreement. "That's right. Before Kaoru and I started Plan B, I tried to join my older cousin's team but was rejected. Those guys are on a whole 'nother level compared to us...." once finished speaking, Rae turned around and started riding backwards. Kaoru also stopped circling them. "I'm sorta hungry. Wanna get something to eat?" Kaoru asked Rae. She nodded and looked at Yori. "You wanna come too?" As the words left her mouth, she noticed the time on a billboard. "It's sorta late though. Do you have to be somewhere?"

"Alright then. Where do you wanna go?" Rae asked the two of them. Kaoru just shrugged and looked at Yori.

"Woah!" Kim barely skirted around a truck that suddenly stopped while she flew through an intersection. 'Alright, that's enough of that...' Kim slowed down a bit and lept up onto a fence then to a low balcony of a hotel. From there, she lept into a drainage gutter of a smaller building and rode it to it's end where she leapt over a street and landed on the roof of another building. All while looking around the rooftops and down at the streets for signs of her team mates. 'Damnit! Just how hard can it be to find those two?' Kim thought as she rode up a pipe that led to the roof of another hotel.
