I'm not sure, it's not easy to choose just one... I think I'd choose Elwing. After she and Earendil scaped from the middle earth, she lived in Alqualonde, near the sea, and it's said that she even got wings and she used to fly to meet Earendil when he came back home... whee

I'd have to be someone like Galadriel because she can resist temptation, has knowledge of millions of things and she can see into the future. She's just brilliant

Estelyn already said what I was going to. xd Eowyn has always been my role-model, after Eilonwy in the Black Cauldron books (I read those first, of course), and I grew my hair out to look like her. sweatdrop She's great, and strong, and not afraid to fight for what she believes in and she's not afraid to face her own darkness and let someone (to wit, Fararmir) help her fight that, too.

yes, even though Eowyn is my female hero in lotr, i still like Arwen, shes beautifuly played by Liv xd 3nodding i did try to grow my hair out as long like arwen and i have black hair also, and i need was to do some samll braiding on the sides xd but i had to cut it last month sad since the tangles were getting unruly and hard to tame xp
so i had to but it cute shoulder length, so i guess i can still grow it out again and that would take me...about 5-7 months? sweatdrop

Either Eowyn or Nienor. I don't like what happened to Nienor, but I think she was brave during the time before she met her brother (when she didn't know it was him.) Of course, after, she committed suicide (but then I would too if I were her and...you know.) eek

Eowyn because she is strong... it is kind of sad that Tolkien cannot seem to write a female character... well... she is very strong... so it is amazing!
