Hurit rumbled lazily as she padded slowly from her cave. It was late in the afternoon as the she bear was tired. She shuffled slowly towards the stream, her stubby tail swishing lazily. Coming to a stop she eyed the stange male in her terrirtory rumbling low in her throat. " Who are you?"

The green-blue bear heard the feminine voice, along with the grumble and put down the plant he had been stripping slowy. He stood upright, then sat and answered. " My name's Neron. And yours, m'lady?" A charmer, Neron was constantly using terms like 'm'lady'. He wasnt trying to flatter anyone, though it sometimes came off as that. It also sometimes got him in more trouble then he bargined for.

Hurit eyed him warily huffing faintly. " Hurit...why are you in my territory?" She grumbled faintly. It just didn't hurt to be too cautious espically with strange males. She grumbled her ears flicking back nervously.

He looked around for a moment and smiled gently. " My apologizes, Hurit. I was just looking for a evening snack and spotted these berries. Not even thinking, I crossed the stream to get to them. " He stood up and made a wide circle, sensing the cautousness of the female and not blaming her. He made his way to the stream. " I'll, uh, leave if you wish, m'lady"

She watched him for a moment before nodding " it's alright. You are welcome to join me for some later dinner" she getured to the fish filled stream as she ambled towards it. " I have to admit it is a bit unnerving. I have been the only adult around for a bit and suddenly in the last two days I have seen two different males."

He smiled a bit and nodded. " I agree, I too have a seen a few adults roaming around, mind you I havent interacted with any of them." He walked alittle bit closer to her, but not breaking her limits of comfortablity. His large paws waded slowly into the stream, barely making any nose and he stared straight down into the water, watching the fish, licking his maw with his thick tongue

She chuckled faintly as she waded into the water, easily scooping out the quickly moving fish. "Pleanty of cubs, but not many adults. Poor little things." She shook her head as she headed to the shore with her prize flopping down on the river stones to munch the fish content.

Suddenly deciding that he really wasn't that hungry, he lay down in the water, covering himself. He smiled contently, and nodded at her comment. " I agree. Too many cubs...but I'm sure all will be okay, and they will all soon be adults." He flopped around a bit, spraying the water up along his back.

Hurit narrowed her eyes whuffing faintly " And what is that suppose to mean? Too many cubs?" She had heard such things before, usually from big males who wanted to drive off all the cubs not theirs. If this stranger thought he was going to do that in her terrirtory he had another thing coming.

He could sense something in her voice, and noted that she had gotten the wrong idea from what he said. He shook his large head, his small round ears swiveling around, " What I ment by too many cubs, is that there aren't enough adults around to hold a mature conversation with. I like cubs, in way I miss being one" He chuckled softly to himself. " Cubs see the world alot differently then adults do, and I miss seeing and learning. Plus, things are so much more fun when your that small" He smiled with a laugh at the thought.
