 Welcome to Channel 1: Roleplaying! Like every good prince, as stated in Machiavelli's, The Prince, If an idea works keep it, so that is what we are going to do. What do you mean, you ask? I mean, you've seen Gaia's forums (we assume) and you know how the roleplaying forums work. But, of course. for those of you who have not yet examined every inch of those forums, we, being the Domo Gaian Society, will explain in these posts. Roleplaying is a type of forum posting in which you act, roleplay, as not yourself, but a character, either of your own imagination, based off a real person, of the roleplayer's imagination, or of a book, show, or movie. In roleplaying, it is much like writing a book. Your character can do different actions, and use dialouge by using quotation marks. Roleplaying reaches many people's interest on Gaia, and if doesn't reach yours, this isn't the place for you, I'm afraid.

The Domo Gaian Society does not require you to ask before you start a roleplay. We don't want to squish your little creative mind, as long as your idea is developed. Of course, developed means different things to different minds. So, what does developed mean do the Domo? He shall show you now!
Your thread must include:
domokun A title, something that describes the roleplay.
domokun At least three sentences of plot, or storyline
domokun Your own rules, appart from the basics
domokun A way for people to find out, how to join your roleplay, and what they need to do to get started
The rest is left up to you!

How do you join an existing roleplay? Why, how do you want me to answer that? It is completly up to the creator of the said roleplay, and in their thread, they will have a topic on how to join! Follow their rules, and do what they say, and I guarentee you will get in! Remember, be polite, and don't get angry if your first try doesn't work, it is their roleplay, and their idea of perfection may be different than yours!
