For it is needed in every nation, a hero's watchful presense. They are the leaders of men, the protectors of the weak. They are the guardians of the just be they on the winning side of course. There comes a time when everything is threatened by everything else.
As time moves Nations will fall and peoples- the members of a nation joint through culture and religion if not a common state, will disappear. It is in the middle of a war that mercenaries appear, but do they really only work for money? And how come a single fighting mercenary force can often turn the tides of a war?

Plot:
A battle was begun a century before. One that was finished but never clearly or cleanly- it simply moved locations. With the death of what some people are now calling the God of Battle- Cael and his wife Arianna, the Goddess of Healing the battle was thought to be over.Their sacrifice complete in winning over Arianna's sister and her lover, the dark God and Goddess Desdomona and Akiva.
But it was really just beginning. The battle moved from the ravaged lands that would later form what would be known as the Peace to the Realms of the Heavens, but when Arianna bears a girl child IN the Heavens, she sends Adamma down to fulfill her destiny on Earth in the guardianship of her elder brother, Chal.
On the other side of the world, the ancestor and distant cousin of the two demi gods is orphaned and sent to live away from the elf lands with her human relations. Raised by the heirs of the elements Fyre and Whater, she has embarked and finished a quest that has inadvertantly led her to Chal and Adamma. Baelyn Fiona O'Byrne, so named after the first daughter of Kateb has found her cousin Darian whom she had lost with the help of the Demi Gods.
Adamma has no knowledge of her powers and it is Chals duty to help her awaken herself without telling her. If she is killed before she comes into her powers, the most powerful of Heaven's children will neve become the Goddess she is destined to become. Desdomona and Akiva have managed to awaken every evil in the world and now in the Borderlands Baelyn and her company of newly formed Mercenaries are fighting for their own purposes: Survival, Revenge, Justice.

About Lithania:
Lithania is your typical (or not so typical) fairy tale world.
Lets start with the real power:
The Heaven's: The powers of the Heaven's are complicated and infinate. Anything that has ever been thought existed simply because they ARE existance in it's purest form.
- The Power of Life: is harboured in the centre of the Heavens often known as the Grove of Life wherein it is formed and kept by the 5 Tree's of Power: Wisdome, Truth, Creation, Deciet, Knowledge. Amethyst, Emerald, Opal, Ruby, Saphire. Willow, Pine, Maple, Oak, Sycamore.
- The Realms: Are endless. They are and were the dwelling place for thousands of worlds. Millions of Gods and Goddesses and Souls. Pits and damnations.
- The Halls of Tears: Commonly known as just the Halls. They connect every Realm to one another and they connect the common route to the Heavens from Lithania.
The Creators: Were initially the Created. The last two of Lithania's TRUE Gods. Deva (The Celestial Being) and Donovan (The Dark Warrior) the completion of the other is also the opposite. They are always at ends though they are one and the same. When they grew discontented with each other they seperated for a period of time and the way they departed and walked formed the Halls of Tears. It was during this time the Heaven's created three more minor beings for each. The Fates for Deva and Chaos for Donovan. Three beings with characteristics of the opposite so they could still be mostly complete. Together all 6 formed the Elements but soon enough THEY grew discontented.
This time it was a request for the power of Creation itself and the Heaven's granted the request for fear of constant turmoil in their two Created. It is because they cut down the Tree of Creation that several things occured: there will never again be another world after Lithania. There is an entrance that must be safe guarded directly into the Glade from Lithania in Gaelras Tithan (The Land of the Fey, initially sent down as Guardians it is impossible to find for most) by a peice of stone from each tree. A guardian for each stone in each generation. Spirit, Honour, Hope, Karma, Faith.
Which Brings us to the Elements:
Chaos- the Companions of Donovan in the order of Life Gifted. Eorth, Eternitie and Whater.
Fates- the Companions of Deva in order of Life Gifted. Tyme, Fyre, Aer.
In the pair ups: Tyme, Eternitie. Whater, Fyre. Eorth, Aer. And it was from these and the pair ups with the Oracle that Lithania was peopled by the different races.
The oracle are the three children of Deva and Donovan sent to be the Tellers of Lithania. They may never set eyes on their parents for when they leave Lithania, the world will be no more.
Fia- The Weaver is the eldest. Her children are the ancient races: Fey and Elve. She is known to have married into and with Tyme and Eternitie.
Kateb- The Writer is the middle. His children formed the mortal races. His eldest child- his daughter and warrior Fiona married the first O'Byrne son of Whater and Fyre.
Gala- The Singer. The youngest her youngest son Devon is imfamous as a rogue and a traveller. What he looks like is not really known outside of the Histories nor his age nor race even for Deva was a mother to any race.
Gods and Goddesses are actually more like saints if that makes sense. They are born with the power and WILL become a god or goddess as long as they realize their power. And of course for this they must live a mortal life. How can someone like Desdomona or her lover Akiva still come into their status as god and goddess when they are so evil? The power can corrupt you. They were corrupted.
Who are they?
Gods in order of ascension:
Cael- Warrior God, married to Arianna and mortal father to Chal (son of the Stars) and Adamma (Beautiful Girl). His color is Green.
Kolya- Protector god. His love was Naida. His color is Brown.
Akiva- The Destroyer. His lover was Desdomona and his color is red.
Chal- The mage. He was born with a lesser destiny to Arianna and Cael during their life on Lithania so his powers are weaker. He was one of the first to ever be born with magikal powers. His color is Blue.
Goddesses:
Arianna- The Healer. Mother to Adamma and Chal, wife to Cael. Her father was the First King of the Elves and her mother the grandaughter of Deva, the youngest of Fia's daughters and Princess of Gaelras Tithan. She is the counterpart to Blue.
Desdomona- The Deceiver. She was born Arianna's twin. Her power corrupted her and she nearly uh destroyed the world... She is the counter part to Red and the patron and first Dark Elve or Demon.
Naida- The Scholar and the Trickster both... No one really knows where she was from, not even herself. She appears with looks from almost any of the predominant races. Counterpart to Brown.
Adamma- The lover. Such a girly one. Adamma is the victim of love seperated. She dies (at the end of this role play actually) when Baelyns group is sold out. Though they win the battle, Adamma is killed while her lover survives- Baelyn's cousin Darian. She is the most powerful of all the gods and goddesses though she is only a demi goddess because she had been born in the Heavens rather than on Lithania. Counterpart to Blue.
This is all I can really think of for now. Outside of the fact that Lithania has two moons. One to represent Deva and one to represent Donovan. They cross the sky at opposites and meet at Midnight in the same location to create just the one moon. A Gold moon and the Silver moon. Baelyn's mother for instance was named Silvera for she was born under the silver moon. Luna and Luner (yes I know. How original right?)

Map Coming Soon. I promise, and when I get it up I'll write up a description of notable places and appearances associated with those areas etc.
Races:
Human
Elven
Demon
Dwarvish
Halfling
Each of those races are spread out into nations and cultures.
Demons- there are four sects of Demons. This race actually comes from the Goddess Desdomona who was seen as the original member. Every member of the demon race tends to have elvish looks with darker traits. You have to be born a demon but what sect you belong to depends on what skills and can only sometimes be hereditary. The Aurora Demons- Classified by a born gift of control of magik through the elements. The Luner Demons draw their power from the midnight hour when the two moons meet in the sky. Solara Demons, likewise draw their power from the sun at Midday when it burns brightest and hottest. The eve Demons however are those born without any powers and are the most common form of Demon.
Elves- Three races of Elves. Tallani Elves are the most known nation, the first of the acknowledged elves. Their sister race those of the Laurinthilas nation are far less known, having retreated from the outer world. The Koronai are a nation of sea elves- there home is an island in the south of Lithania and they live jointly on land and in sea. They are the cousins to the other two races.
Dwarvish- It depends on how they live. Generally speaking there are only one race with a subrace known as Gnomes. Gnomes are like the dregs of dwarvish society.
Halflings- Singular, they are cousins to humans AND dwarves. A missing link between the two.
Humans- This is possibly the most complicated race. They can have half humans of any of the other races. Only those with human blood in them can physically produce children with another race. Sub Humans are varied. There are remote regions such as the Shadowpass where not much is known to the outside world. Haven can house any of them. The Borderlands tend to be humans of darker skin and darker coloring in general. Height it usually on the taller side. For those that are known as the forest tribes they tend to have Eorths coloring. Indeed the Forest and Plains tribes are known as Eorths children because they have the coloring of his element. Goreganos is a nation in the far northeast of Lithania, its an island nation, and they tend to have lighter coloring over all though for hair and eyes it is not always true. Gypsys of Liberta or wherever the winds of fate blow them, tend to have a creamy complexion with dark coloring for hair and a very colorful wardrobe. They tend to be of middle height with prominent facial structures.
Faeries- Are extremely rare to find. I would not recommend having your character play one with faerie blood. The only ones with faerie blood to walk from the invisible realm of Gaelras Tithan in the last century according to the Histories are Chal and Adamma. Their features are far more pronounced than an elves and they can shift change into Butterflies only when they have their birth pendant upon them. They can also partially change in different degrees. They can shrink themselves with wings or stay their height and just grown their wings with the pendant upon them.

[color=#348781][b]“I’d love to show you my collection of items then.”[/color][/b] He admitted with a smile of his own. Knowing that she was interested in seeing his collection made him happy, he’d never met another girl quite like her before. A grin crossed his lips at her remark about reading her mind one day, if only she knew that it was capable and that he just didn’t because he respected her privacy. [color=#348781][b]“Maybe one day indeed.”[/color][/b] He agreed though with a smile, though frowned slightly when he felt his phone vibrate and he pulled it out glancing at the message. His frown deepened, he didn’t like that news but he made sure to type in a quick got it before putting his phone away again.
He pulled Jihyun closer to him wrapping his arms tightly around her while setting his head on her shoulder lightly as he listened to her talk. [color=#348781][b]“Well if you’d really like to see me in glasses I’ll make sure to send you a picture of me in them.”[/color][/b] He told her sounding a little shy, it had been ages since anyone but the boys had seen him in glasses and back when he was human glasses weren’t seen as attractive like they were now. He listened as she said that she didn’t get to sleep in late and he frowned but understood, if she didn’t she’d work later and then they may not have ever met. [color=#348781][b]“I’m glad you work mornings at least because we met.”[/color][/b] He smiled as he agreed, sure he wished she could get some more sleep but he’d make due with knowing that she was sleeping eventually.
Donghyun frowned as he listened to Jihyun talk but he could understand where she was coming from. [color=#348781][b]“They don’t know the joy they had when they had you around.”[/color][/b] He said with a soft sigh. [color=#348781][b]“But that’s okay because it means you’re all mine. I guess I can share you with Byeong and the boy’s though.”[/color][/b] Donghyun said with an overdramatic sigh but it was clear that he was joking about it. He was glad that Jihyun wasn’t cold, he enjoyed where they were and didn’t really want to leave but of course her health was the most important thing to him. As he asked her about how she was eating after the break in he felt her body stiffen in his arms; he had expected that reaction it was only natural. He didn’t like hearing that she wasn’t eating normally but again it was kind of expected, he just listened along as she talked about how she felt.
[color=#348781][b]“You know you have my number now you can call or text me when you go grocery shopping and I’ll happily accompany you.”[/color][/b] He said with a smile, he’d do anything in his power to keep her safe and feeling secure. [color=#348781][b]“I’ll always worry about you princess.”[/color][/b] He said softly as he nuzzled his face into her neck softly before pulling away. She always smelled so good and sometimes he was tempted and curious about what she’d taste like but it wasn’t an urge he couldn’t control as he clearly could. But still the curiosity was always there. He wasn’t sure what to say at first to her next question and he stayed silent before he sighed and spoke. [color=#348781][b]“I don’t want to scare you further but I think knowing the truth is better for you.”[/color][/b] He spoke softly before he continued. [color=#348781][b]“It’s highly possibly whoever did it will come back.”[/color][/b]
Especially since the vampire was lurking around outside right now, the fact that he’d already seen Byeong with Kwangmin put both girls into a higher danger now that it was confirmed the two girls were close with the group of vampires. [color=#348781][b]“If you ever feel even the slightest bit of unsafe I want you to call me. I don’t care what time it is Jihyun.”[/color][/b] He spoke seriously while pulling away from her slightly and turning her face to him. [color=#348781][b]“If you ever feel scared anywhere I want you to call me.”[/color][/b] He couldn’t come out during the day and that made him more afraid because he knew the rogue vampire had to have a human or someone helping them out in this city.
