Because of personal and spiritual reasons, I've decided to take an indefinite break from Gaia, which actually I believe will be an absolute departure. I've enjoyed and learned a lot of things during my stay in Gaia, and especially among you, guys.
My time on Gaia has let me see what's the condition of the churches and professing Christians offshore. It has helped me understand the need to return to the Scriptures as the authoritative Word of God, instead of a legalistic bunch of rules to obey, or a bunch of useless old stuff, or a bunch of suggestions that should not necessarily be followed.
I have learned how debating with those who just don't want to accept God is futile, for we must not speak according to the human nature, but according to the message that God has called us to deliver to them: A message that they consider craziness, and for which we are constantly bombed with terms such as "Bible-thumpers" (as a peyorative name), "close-minded people" (as if they were being open-minded when they reject taking God seriously on what He says in the Scriptures), and many other terms.
There are too many things to say, and I know I'm omitting most of them. But let's just not make this more dramatic.
I only wanted to say thank you. I'll be praying for you, and hope you all receive God's rich blessings, and let you live a life more accordingly to His will, remembering Jesus' words:
"If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it" (Luke 9:23-24).
