Firstly before we continue please remember this is a sensitive subject which can actually mean something to some of the members here in the guild so be careful how you word things, don't just put thing's like "its murder" or "im for it" because we need reasons as to why you personal think that and if someone speaks of having a abortion or actually agreeing with it do not jump down there throats because you do not agree or think they did wrong because end of the day it is down to the individual.
I personally do not believe in abortion basically because there is so many people out there who simply cannot have children they do not have the abillity and i find it wrong that some people can throw away a life insted of going through with everything and giving someone a dream of a child they otherwise would never be able of having. As many of those who are infirtile have so much love to give to a child it seems to me somehow wrong deneying it to them. My oppinions also are based on my mother as well she lose so many children down to miscarriages and it broke her heart she never thought she would be capable of having kids when her loss was raised high by the miscarriages and i meant more than 5 i won't say the number and it really did crush her because she wanted children more than anything in the world and was amazing with kids, luckily me and my brother came along finally with the help of our late great grandmother i believe as she told my mum she would have me first then my brother even said the dates i guess i believe in forces beyond.
but due to my mum going through that i even personally saw her lose two babies one set of twins through miscarriage that i do not feel it is fair those taking the abortion road when they could be giving the best gift to a family the gift of life.

I know it's a sensitive subject.
But that's why i need to say what I'm going to say. I know this goes against what you said Ang. But i think you'll understand.
I'm not saying that Abortion is a good thing. or even a right thing. But it's important that we have it. I was a little shocked watching a TV program drama about a week ago and there was a woman who was going for an abortion. She was stopped from going in by protesters and they scared her. But the reason she was going for an Abortion was because she'd been raped by her brother.
It was just a drama but it really brought it home to me that just sometimes it is needed. I've never really made up my mind about it either way.
But "A Life is a life no matter what price you put on it." But "However sometimes taking a life is for the greater good. And sometimes when it happens that someone has been raped or wronged like in that drama then abortion is the only thing that can be done. for the sake of the child not just for the same of the mother.
I understand why Ang is against it. Because having children is a gift. But it depends on the situation if it is a good thing or not. under age kids who weren't ready who get pregnant. That too is somtimes a good reason to keep abortion.
I'm not going against Ang by saying it's a good thing because it's not. A Life is a life. But just somtimes it's important to keep abortion for the times when things happen where abortion is the best and somtimes the only option. I would never stop someone going into an abortion clinic for any reason myself because it's their choice. But i would say "Is this the right thing to do? Is this the Best option?"

I'm not against it because two women in my family have had to deal with this situation.
My mom had to have one ten years ago. If she had had my brother, he would have had severe mental retardation and we would have had to put him in the grave at the age of six. I was a young child. My parents didn't think they or I could deal with that kind of heartbreak. So my mom got an abortion. She was two months pregnant.
My cousin is pregnant. She chose NOT to have an abortion. I do not want to say that she should have had one because I know it is a life but in her case I do not think it would have been such a bad thing because now her life will never be the same. She is not ready for a kid and the baby's father is a complete idiot. He has no sense of responsibility and she CHOSE to get pregnant, hid his condoms and then he quit his job and she lost hers. Now she's back to living with my aunt and we're all trying to pretend everything's okay but my aunt calls us when my cousin is not home to talk about how scared she is for my cousin.
So yes, I support abortion. Because I also think women who are raped should not have to look into the face of that man in their child everyday. Some people cannot get over that.
And also, I am 100% for a woman having a CHOICE. who is some MAN to tell her that she has to have a child that she does not want, need, or does not know how to care for?

ok, I am a christian, but most of my views are different then the main stream christian, but I think that a soul enters the baby soon after conception, plus my moral views are against killing, its your choice on what, but I personally think murder except as last ditch measure, then again rape and danger in pregnancy is ok, its best to ask yourself what to do on each occasion before jumping into the choices

I'm a Christian myself, However i happen to be in a privileged position of not being told to believe unlike it seems that most of the church is.
The conclusions I've come to have not been based on religion so much as what is common sence. As for the concept of a soul entering a body. That is very dodgy theology.
Maybe Ang could make a Religion section on the basis that it would be for discussion and not for a full out religious row?

I'm totally pro choice.
The world is over populated as it is - so, if someone doesn't want to have a baby when theres so many other starving people to feed? Then thats better for them.
However, I'm only for the choice, if the abortion is done sooner in the pregnancy (ie. If someone were in their third trimester, I'd probably end up thinking it's more akin to infantcide). And I'm against abortion being used as a BC. (I know people who do that. =/ Condoms are around for a reason, people.)
It's definately needs a lot of thought put into it though, because I know alot of woman who have had abortions, but then have not really gotten over it.
It's so hard to come up with a clear-cut opinion... But I think it should definately remain an individual choice.

its not just a christian stand point, since I was around 7 years old I have been able to see the life energy that is gathered by a soul, I have found that a embrio gathers energy while in the womb at an early date, along with the mothers energy it causes what I call an "energy senergy" basically it does for healing((and growth for embrios)) as a super charger and other such parts does for cars, plus seeing spirits of the dead I have learned to respect life, it doesn't matter that it might have not been a wanted pregnancy, every life is important, everyone is needed, it angers me that people in poorer countries have a much bigger family then us yet one unwanted kid and we destroy a possible Mozzart, De'venchi((sp?)), David, or mayby a hero that will fix all the problems on the earth, two of my brothers died during infancy, and if I had them I probily would have the guts to actually effect the world like how I could with the gift the lord has given me, yet is afraid to cause of the damage it does with releasing it yet keeping it locked up is just as dangerious in the long run

That's a pagan Belief. As for ghosts, call me cynical but there is no such thing. otherwise there would be ghosts all over the world but Ghosts as we know them only appear in places like old Churches and Castles and other old buildings.
Bronze what your saying does sound very dodgy. If i was a lot wiser i'd say it was time to re-evaluate your beliefs. But as I'm not. Please can you explain them instead?

Please can you explain them instead? its real, I have used mine to effect two hurricanes that was heading for my then gf, its dangerious to use and requires someone with an intense moral code not to use it for their own desires, its tough, but doable, unfortunatly most religious leaders are just like those of the past, too stuck in the past to accept mayby the lord gave us something that has yet to fully come out, its an inner secret of mine, yet I feel that its safe to mention here, lets just hope you all understand that much

I'm being kind and telling you now to give up this pretence that you have any kind of power. You cannot except that simply leaving things in gods hands is the only thing we can do.
God really did not give anyone any super powers or anything.
Other people with less consideration would rip your idea to bits.
But I'm telling you. Your really just fooling yourself.
In Gods eyes everyone is special. but not in any supernatural sense.
