"Someone...else?" Elly asked confusedly. Who would he be expecting to come up behind him around here? Slowly she made her way out from her hiding place and closer to pond. "It really is nice out here.." She trailed off as she stared down at the water. Letting out a deep, long sigh she kicked a random pebble into the water, causing ripples to let loose across the surface. "To be truthful, I miss it sometimes. The valley's great and all but my main home is here." She shrugged slightly as she plopped down on the ground and closed her eyes.

 Liang's eyes darted from the pond to Elly, then up to the sky. He wasn't the sort who could hold eye contact for very long. It made him... nervous. "Yeah..." he said sullenly as he wated a few leaves blow past. "It's nothing." he muttered.
Liang let the cool air flow through his thick mane as he glanced back to Elly. Before he could stop himself, he said "Then why leave?". His eyes widened slightly as he shook his head to himself. What a stupid question that was... and one he should answer for himself before asking it of another. "N-nevermind..." he mumbled. "That's none of my business. "

Elly flinched at his question. "In truth, I don't know why I left." She rose her head up and looked at Liang. She'd been interested in this Eoghan ever since first meeting him. There was just something about him that seemed mysterious...and her being her...she just couldn't help but try to solve that mystery. "I guess I was just looking for a change. I love it here...and the valley's great too. I guess I'm just the adventurous type." She laughed slightly and the wind carried the sound into the distant.
"You shouldn't be so nervous around others..." Elly blurted out before she could stop herself. "Damn it.." she muttered. "I shouldn't have said that. I need to learn to keep my beak shut." She sighed as she turned her head away from him. "So, how do you like it around here Liang?" Elly asked, trying to quickly change the subject.

Liang winced at her comment. He knew she was right... but that didn't mean he liked to hear someone else recognize this flaw about him. Despite how tight his beak had suddenly become clamped, he managed to quickly blurt out, "It's nothing. Don't worry about it." Geez, this was great. He suddenly felt very aware of his own presence, as his paws fidgeted nervously in the dry grass left over from summer's heat. He began clicking his claws together to clean them; anything for an excuse not to look up at Elly.
Trying to stay cool, he simply stated "It's alright. It's loud inside, but peaceful out here." He tilted his head curiously. "How... did you know my name?"

Elly could see that she had offended him with what she said. Instantly, she regretted her big mouth. "I really am sorry..." She mumbled. Raising up from the spot she was lying in she looked at Liang. "Ya know..." she started as she nudged her shoulder against his, trying to manage to get him to look at her. "...I'm a little shy myself. I just try to get past it." She stuck out her tongue as she smiled at him warmly.
"How'd I know your name?" Elly blinked as she thought back. "When you and your father, he was your father right?, came to visit the first time." She shrugged as he obviously didn't remember. "You were nervous then, too. Something about you is intriguing though.." The last part of that was so quiet she almost didn't hear it herself. "My name's Elly." She said as she sat down and looked up at the sky.

Liang nervously jumped a bit as Elly's shoulder bumped up against his. He stared at her for a moment, not sure what to do next. His fidgeting with his claws became more and more quick, as though clacking them together was VERY important and needed quite a bit of attention to accomplish. Your claws can never be too clean, you know. His face turning slightly red, he mumbled "I'm not shy..." as though he was speaking to himself.
He cleared his throat, and blinked down at her. By nature his Solas blood made him somewhat taller than her, regardless of whether she was standing or sitting. "Yes, he was." He chuckled to himself; now he remembered. His father managed to convince a nice handful of Eoghan to join the Creux clan, though he supposed it didn't matter. Their lives were theirs to govern, and they knew what joining meant.

"Not shy, huh?" Elly smiled as she looked down at his claws. "Then what's up with that?" She pointed one of her own claws down at his paws. "Don't worry, I don't mind." She looked back up at him and wondered why he had actually left the clan. Elly shrugged the thought from her head and rose to her feet. "I feel weird being here. Kind of nervous. Like I'll be found out." She smirked slightly. "Kind of thrilling. Guess I always did have a knack for doing things I'm not suppose to." She was trying to make idle chit chat. She wasn't sure what to talk about anymore. She liked being around Liang but it was kind of weird too.

Liang instantly placed his paws flat on the ground and straightened his posture, sniffing a bit at the air. "It's just a... a bad habit." he coughed out slightly louder than he'd intended. Traces of red still lingered in his face at having had his nervous twitch pointed out. He glanced back over to Elly, not looking her directly in the face. "You'd probably be evicted from the clan if you were seen." he said flatly. He didn't quite understand why she'd join the clan only to take such a risk.
