Begin transmission:
I'm reading the two Darren Shan books. Ciqure Du Freak, and I don't remember the other one. They are about vampires. They're good. Then there is my books for school. The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom was great. And so was Animal Farm by George Orwell, and Of Mice and Men by Stinebeck.
End transmission.

I am reading Plague Maker by Tim Downs. It is about a fictional attempt at biological warfare. It is really good.

I'm reading Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants (More confessions of Georgia Nicolson) by Louise Rennison. Absolutely hilarious... well to me anyway.
I've decided to read the only real funny books I've got before I go back to school. And I've spent the last week reading 1984 for school... I found it excruciating. It was that boring. Has anyone else read it?
Oh and has anyone else read Oryx and Crake? I had to read for school as well, and it's a fantastic book.

Ironic as it is, I'm ready the Harry Potter series over again... sort of. I never finished the whole series though, got to the fifth book and tried to read it twice but it was too long for me back in the day (wow, how old do I sound). I'm currently on The Chamber Of Secrets, almost done. It's been so long, it's like I never read any of the books. I hardly remember all the details.
Though I'm not sure if I really need to read the seventh book, several people have told me the whole book really, even when I didn't want to listen. I found out seven new people that died that I hadn't know about until somebody told me *cough*... apparently there's only one person (or thing) that I don't know died...

At the moment I am reading The Stone of the Stars by Alison Baird. It is the typical fantasy book, but I am mostly reading it because I don't have anything else to read and am waiting for Empire of Ivory by Noami Novik that is coming out the 25th of September.
{EDIT} I just finished The Stone in the Stars and it wasn't as plain as I first thought. The whole 'Prophecy' turned out to actually mean one of the other characters that was tagging along instead of the !!PRettY girl everyone thought it was.

Aww...
I'm reading a book called Firebird, by Mercedes Lackey. It's really interesting biggrin One thing I don't like is when books are told from guys point of view, because it can get slightly awkward...
