Razukira: New Home of the People From Earth

Plot:

The many vast and diverse countries and people of Earth cannot seem to settle anything without angry words and threats. Soon these threats become actual actions. These actions turn into more violence and more offensive behaviors which slowly start to eat away at Earth’s precious surface. People who should be protecting and governing their nations are instead putting them at risks. Making them build and create even more dangerous and lethal killing machines. Eventually it becomes a Nuclear War, and if you didn’t have the technology to create nuclear weapons, you were crushed instantly.

In the end, Earth is 99% devastated beyond the point of even trying to fix it. The Nuclear Wars have cause Earth to crumble. Earth’s atmosphere becomes a soup of toxic chemicals and biological diseases. Animals and plants alike were shoved underneath Earth’s core to help protect them from nuclear fall out and various chemicals. Soon people of their governments start to realize that they can no longer survive on Earth. They rise up, too late, and destroy their tyrannical leaders. Now they gather together and use all of their technology and know-how to make rockets, so that they can escape Earth and it’s ruptured, cracked, and bleeding surface.

They finally manage to get what is left of the population of humans, animals, and plants onto several rockets, each coordinated for a particular planet in the cosmos. This planet mirrors some of the elements that are on Earth and would be a good place for a second chance. So the rockets are stations at strategic places where the majority of the people who are still left on the earth may find the rocket and board.

However, not all is as good as it seems. Everyone on the rockets start breaking out with sores, their hair starts to fall out, and they become sickly and weak. Many thousand people die within the first Earth month; their bodies ejected from the rockets through garbage shoots into space for fear of contamination. Their bodies had gotten used to the chemical filled atmosphere and their bodies go through what seems to be a de-toxing stage.

Slowly people start to regain their hair and their health. Their bodies start sealing up their wounds. However, their bodies are genetically mutated from the fall out and everyone starts feeling a difference.

Regular “humans” are stronger and somewhat faster than the human at top condition. But their change is minor compared to the rest of them. They ignore it, almost.

However, for the rest of them, their bodies are dramatically changed. Each of them has their own sect of abilities. Earthen Elementals are able to control metals, sand/earth/stones, and plants. Water Elementals control water, form ice, and the weather. Fire Elementals can only control fire, and are the weakest of the elementals. Air Elementals are able to fly, control winds and their air currents. Light and Darkness Elementals are by far the oddest of all the elementals.

Light Elementals control all the colors, they can see in ‘blinding’ light and in darkness and have no problems mirror the speed of light. They also can somewhat disappear, which is more or less them changing what colors they are to blend in with their surroundings. Darkness Elementals are far different, and yet the same as Light Elementals. They are also able to mirror the speed of light; they also control shadows and can remove small traces of light from an area. However, unlike the Light Elementals, they cannot see in the dark, they become the dark. They merely submerge themselves in it and becoming it. They have no need to see in the dark when they are the dark. It is impossible to tell where the Darkness Elementals are when they are submerged. And some have even claimed that their powers lead them into a sort of parallel dimension where their mass can be stored and then removed at will.

Light and Darkness alike are very rare. And usually have medical issues, such as weak heart and stamina. (Their medical issues can be far worse than simply this or even less to a cronic headache or cold. No one is 100% healthy who is a darkness or a light elemental. It is because their bodies are unstable. )

After arriving on the new planet, Razukira, arguments and complaints break out between the different factions. Most of the “regular” humans believe that the Elementals are beneath them, likewise most Elementals believe that the “regular” humans are nothing but dead bodies walking, doomed to genetic failure because they couldn’t develop any extraordinary powers. (But we know that’s an incorrect assumption. wink )

Slowly the fighting groups separate into three different groups:

Regs (Shortened from Regular): The Tribe of all the ‘normal’ and ‘regular’ humans that do not have controls over elements who believe that the Ellies should be exterminated. The Regs distrust anyone who does not come from another Reg tribe. They do not like to do business with Mark villages, because it is easy to pretend to be ‘human’. They do so only for survival.

Ellies (Shortened from Elementals): The Tribe of all the Elementals that have control over certain elements who believe that the Regs are nothing but genetic waste and should in turn be put out of their misery. They also have a dislike for the elemental Marks who choose to work with the Regs in harmony. They believe that the Marks are weak.

Marks: The Tribe of the Mixed Ellies and Regs. The Marks are all the Ellies and Regs that wish to have peace between everyone and everything. They choose to live by their own and choose to work together in harmony instead of working with the other Tribes.

Setting:

Razukira is mostly a desert planet. About 85% of the planet is covered in fine red sand. However there are several different areas on Razukira that have vegetation and water springs. Underneath the surface of Razukira there lies several massive caves, which have several different hazards including alien animal species that are likely to eat you. These massive caves also link up to all the underground currents of water underneath Razukira’s surface.

The rockets were unevenly divided between the three groups. The Regs got the least amount, the Marks got the middle amount, and the Ellies got most of the rockets. The fight had been hard for all three groups, especially for the Regs who got only the shattered pieces of the rockets.

These rockets were broken down and used for housing, fortifications, agriculture and farming. Animals and Plants were divided by those who received the rockets, meaning that the Ellies have most of the animals and plants from earth and the Regs have very little.

Each city is different from each other. The Regs migrated to the tropical areas on Razukira and set up small villages that mirror the Cherokee Indians from Earth. Which include Long Houses made up of a mixture of wood and metal. The Regs use whatever weapons they manage to create against the Ellies or when they raid on supply lines of the Marks. Regs use their creativity and fight using primitive traps and weapons.

The Marks use large wall fortifications and watch towers that are set out around their villages to watch for enemies and protect the people within them. Their rockets were used to create the village inside the walls, which is sort of like a city with small sky rising building. Most of the Mark villages have their own defense systems in place but the major qualitity to all the Mark villages is the tall wall and watch towers.

The Ellies have the most advanced cities and their weapons are a mirror of that. They use tank-like machines to make war with the Marks and the Regs. The Ellies use their powers every day and use them as a display of power. The weaker Ellies are considered lower class and subordinates to the more powerful Ellies. There are six leaders of the Ellies villages the most powerful for each element and those are the only ones who are considered ‘equal’ to each other in the Ellies village (though this is not too often the case).

The specific Mark Village that this Rp will be focusing on:

On the outside perimeter there are five watch towers that are each evenly spaced. There is one Elemental and one Regular Human to each tower at a time. Everyone has a shift in the watch towers. Half way back from the tower to the wall of the Mark city there are little dugouts that also have a miniature wall, where those who are in the watch tower shifts may rest between walking from the watch tower to the wall.

The wall is shaped in that of a large triangle. It sits over seventy stories high and has three entrance points. At the entrance point there is two guards, who slide open a small slanted slit in the door and asks to see your city badge. You produce your badge and you walk inside.

On the inside of the wall there is a very deep and large dug out area. You stand on top of the metal grate platform and remove your clothes and remove all the dirt from your body (aka with a bath). There are small pull up walls for privacy. The sand and water is dropped into the dugout where overtime it fills halfway, when it reaches halfway mark, an Earthen (who wants to get out of the watch tower duty) volunteers to push the dirt underneath the “island” section of the city, where it is made into bricks, or other misc. things that are needed in every day life.

Standing on the platform, looking to the city, it’s on a “raised” island connected to the all by different levels of metal stairs and platforms. No platform is underneath another platform. It takes about a half an hour to get from the floor of the highest reaching stairway and platforms to the highest part of the wall. The wall is divided into three different stations:

The Ground Station is basically where all the entrances are at.
The Middle Station is a secondary watch and/or fighting station
The Top Station is at the wall lip and only used in times of fighting, specially for combat confronting a major attack.

The city itself is a metropolis of different stores, building areas, and dormitories/condos (where people live on different floors).

The Marks City is called “Barracuda”.

At the center of Barracuda there is an agricultural building. It contains all the animals and all the plants that all the citizens use. Frequently, the citizens from Mark venture to the Regs (with Regs) or to the Ellies (with elementals) and barter the animals to give a variety of genes with in the several animal herds.

Clothing/Societal Structures

Outside Barracuda, everyone wears several pounds of clothing. The winds drop the temperatures from 50 to 0 in an instant (Fahrenheit). People wear clothing from their heads to their toes while outside on duty. It is hard to hear anything, such as talking. Therefore it gets very boring on watch towers. And if they see something, they simply blow in horns that run from the top of the tower down to the round to alert Barracuda that there is something coming. They frequently have to clean out the horn.

Inside Barracuda, everyone wears light clothing wear, unless during one of the cold seasons where they wear the outside clothing. It is usually tan, brown, black, or any color clothing left from earth that has been ripped and patched together. Everything is layered and everything is mix-matched.

If you do not wear enough clothing on both the outside and inside of the wall you may very well die of hypothermia. Razukira is a cold planet, even though it has a sun. The winds on Razukira are enough to wind burn you for life, not only that, but they are carrying sands. When outside of the wall, you have to wear something over your face. That’s why the badges were implemented.

The Barracuda Badge is the only way to come back in from the outside into the city. It is a small patch (usually worn on the outside of clothing on the shoulder) that has a triangle with a simple fish outline in the center of it, usually made with brightly colored, dyed fabric from Earth.

--

In Barracuda, the old are the only ones who get to be on council. The council is the main form of government. Though Barracuda does not have very many laws, they are expected to be respected. Barracuda’s citizens are very loving of their council and the laws developed from the members. There is no social standing, everyone is equal.

The Regs operate on a sort of similar pattern, only that the strong and young are on council. The old and weak have no say in what goes in the council meetings, however they are allowed to refuse to go with the plans set down by the council. It is better to have someone willing to do the work than to have someone who will only do the work half right.

The Ellies have already being discussed previously.

( Alright, I shall be posting sometime soon, if you want to enter this rp, please PM me about your character and specifically tell me what your character's element is. We all start in Barracuda (so if your character is an Ellies or a Reg you're going to haffa think around that one. wink ) )
