I am what some would say a "fandom whore". I've got a number of fandoms I lurv and actively participate in geeking out on/about in a regulatory fashion. A common ailment for those of us who wade waist deep in our fandoms is the ever elusive "Fan Vid", also known as "vidding".
Elusive because while not that hard to find (depends on the fandom of course), good fan vids are.
Admittedly, the anime fandom in general holds a monopoly on fan videos as AMVs (Anime Music Videos) are a fairly popular geek commodity and can be found in abundance- and actually have a rather healthy quantity of well edited material to file through. High quality live action vids are a bit harder to find. The current haven for vidding projects (until it too gets shut down) is Video Vault BAM. It has a mighty search engine filled to the brim of even the most random fandom videos. Search and find kiddies, search and find.
But this right here, my geeklits, is where we shall share our discovered fan videos! I sincerely hope I am not the only one who partakes in this quarky little side hobby obsessive fandom-ness. That would make me sad. gonk

Thanks for sharing! I like the Avatar one and the 300/Bardock trailer - and the Transformer one made me giggle!
And yeah, I was re-linking half the videos because imeem.com took most of them off and relocated them and I forgot I was on Nat and had hit "Quote" rather then "Edit". sweatdrop Old or not - its all good. We're super crazy slow moving anyhow. heart
