Its something i thought about lately do you think kakashi would have what it takes to be Hokage? and do you think he would be good at it?

no because kakashi is way to much of a previous, even naruto and jiriyah aren't at his pervy level...

Yes. Although he maybe a pervert at times, he is strong and smart.
He also has a different personality and has experienced losses in his life that has changed him and made him become the Kakashi now.
I'm sure he'll treat the villagers in Konoha like they were family just like the previous Hokages.

I think he has what it takes, but he wouldn't take the job. He's more of an 'out there' 'adventurer' type. He wouldn't want to settle down for all that paperwork.

What I'm saying is: He could but he won't. I agree. He'd be no more irresponsible in the role than, say, Tsunade, but he'd be as unlikely to accept as Jiraiya. To make him do paperwork, the ANBU corps would have to track him down after he fled to the training grounds or Memorial, physically restrain him, and force him to do the desk portion of his job. He wouldn't be willing to subject himself to that unless it was an emergency wartime appointment, and even then he'd probably try to find a different way to make things work.

Yeah i don't think kakashi should. He's an awesome ninja and everything but i don't think he should be hokage. He's way too laid back. I don't think he would even want to be hokage. He would prolly think its too much of an effort. I think if he put his mind to it he would be capable but the thing is, does he want to be capable.....So my answer is no.

You guys bring up a good point Kakashi really doesn't like paper work lol but it would be funny if he were Hokage but i get what you guys are saying lol

I don't think Kakashi would make a good Hokage,
I think that either Shikamaru, Neji, or Naruto should be Hokage.
Though I do think Shikamaru has the most potential....
Yes I know Naruto should be Hokage, BUT I don't think he should run Konoha, he should set up his own village and run that with Hinata at his side of course!!!! blaugh

have you seen epi. 101, he got all crazy when he walked by a book store... then he say that giant sign for his perv book was becoming a movie, and he said he was going to reserve tickets now, and then in shippuden kakashi lost to naruto and sakura becouse he didn't want to hear the ending to his perv book from naruto.ai.

He also probably wouldn't get distracted like that by a real enemy. He's smarter than that. It was Naruto and Sakura, so it's not a probolem agenst them.

Kakashi doesn't really seem all that strong to begin with anyway. I mean he has amazing Justus he's stolen from his enemies and impressive speed he needed for his original Justu. However beyond that all I've seen is average Jounin strength and chakra capacity.... for example falling to exhaustion after Zabuza's battle. Zabuza was only an A-Ranked Missing Nin. He may a trained more latter but that is the base of his power in the series.
Rereading what I wrote I would just like to add :Sorry if I offend anyone with how snippy this post sounds.... I just don't like him.
