So today was my first day of college. It was pretty sweet. I'm going to school to be a Child and Youth Worker, and the courses we take are pretty cool. This morning, my class was about playing games. GAMES!!!! It's lecture/discussion for 2h, and then games in the gym for 1h. OMGAWESOME. And the afternoon class I had was sweet. The teacher was like "Well, we broke the ice, and you know what the course is called....you can go now." and it was 2h before the class was supposed to finish biggrin biggrin

And let me tell you about the boys. BOYS BOYS BOYS!!!! Now that that's out of the way, let me explain. I went to an arts highschool. With 3/4 girls, and mostly gay guys. So when I walk in the doors of a school and see hoards of boys that aren't singing songs from Hairspray and Grease, I get a tad bit excited.

So now my question to you all is how was your first day of school this year? (whether it was today, or not I don't care!) Any exciting stories?

My first day of school was pretty much like any other day of school.

I can't wait till the winter time!

It was a week ago. Nothing really tops snowboarding fom last year, I would say my schedule is pretty uninteresting in comparison.

Funny thing is this girl I liked last year who was like....5 years older than me and supposed to have graduated failed like 3 of her classes...so now we're in the same class AGAIN purely by chance. She told me she just registered a week before school started too. So I got to each lunch with her that day yay. Too bad she has a bf now.

I cut my first class of the year today WOO. starting out early hehe.

ahhh the weather was just too nice. So I walked around campus with an old friend then went and drove around with another old friend. That's the funny thing about going to a campus so close to home. TONS of people from my highschool go here, so I can't really stray too far without running into someone I know.

From what friends have told me "the whole school goes to our college" but I've only seen 5 people from my graduating class there XD I go to a local college too. My mum works there (aren't I lucky?) but I don't get a discount like the university kids do. Although, I did get a $1000 scholarship, which rocks.

discount? pftt...I can't even remember the last time I paid for any of their crap.

5 dollars for a blackened and tasteless hamburger? No thanks.

and textbooks, well all you have to do is find that little gray square thing in the book and dump it,
yay free book!

I wouldn't steal if they didn't make it so easy.
or if they actually gave me more than 5 dollars back for a book I spent 70 bucks on. It's my way of getting revenge.

I know eh? I did pay for all of my books, but I did try to buy all used.

and the discounts I meant were free tuition. The university kids here get free tuition if a parent works there. Even if they are a janitor.

I don't pay any tuition either. I forget why. Something to do with the Government.
