Knight Online

Knight Online is a Free to Play MMORPG with the option of some Premium content.
It is set in a fantasy universe with two races Orcs (I think they have a different name, but they're basically Orcs) and Humans.
It has four classes, Warrior, Priest, Magician, Rogue.
The Race vs. Class selection is pretty sexist. Like, if you're a female Orc, you can only be Rogue or Priest, or something like that.
The download is pretty steep, as well as the installation and updates. There is also a loading screen at the start of the game, and in between zones, so there is a little bit of a wait.
However, it is a true 3D MMORPG that resembles a retail game.
The animations are a bit blocky and clunky, and they seem to clip here and there, and there ARE glitches, but it's nothing too major.
Combat is actually kind of fun. Run up to a baddy, right click, and off you go. You can hotkey your abilities to a bar at the bottom of the screen like most MMORPGs, and use them if you have sufficient Mana.
You can also spam potions and heals as long as you have them. wink
The monsters and creatures are pretty basic, but they get the job done.
There is Guild support as well, and PvP.
In some spots though, it seems confusing. You may ask yourself, "Why is this here exaclty?" but it isn't a big deal.
The layout of creatures and their level ranges seem strange. You may find a group that's extremely simple to kill next to a group that can tear you apart.
The gameplay isn't original, but it keeps you busy. Basic grinding and monster killing to get better equipment and more abilities.
The Premium content boil down to nothing but EXP and Item bonuses, so you have access to generally everything in the game without charge. This is great.
The Skills are basic, but fun and easy to use when you get them, and you can specialize in different areas of them depending on which class yo choose, so there is some diversity there.
As for character appearance, most of the time he/she will be covered in armor, but there are a handful of hairstyles and colors for them. Nothing really great, though. You'll see a LOT of doubles running around.
The equipment looks pretty neat though, weapons can have enchantments on them and things. I had a great flaming sword for my Orc Warrior.
Population is healthy.
All in all, if you're a patient person and don't mind a bit of a simplified MMO, this is great.
It's free, so check it out.
It can be found Here.
7.5/10
