I watched a
5 hour documentary on warplanes today. It's was actually less about how they were used and more about showing how the wars drove the advancement of airplane technology...so it was actually pretty science heavy believe it or not.
There was a time when I would fall a sleep in science class and now I am watching up to 2 hours of science material a day (on average.) Amazing.
That's a good chunk of time. I suppose that jet engines are a result of WW2 tech.
I just found out that Ken Burn's WW2 documentary will start on PBS the 23rd of September. He did a good job with the civil war, bet this one will be decent.
