No, no it isn't a rule! rofl We just like to get to know our fellow doll lovers. I've made alot of great friends through BJDs and I'd like to continue that trend. wink Please tell us a bit about yourself, and if you're comfortable share a photo (of yourself, dolls can go in the gallery!). So, I'll go first. 3nodding
My name is Rorek, or rather that's what I go by. I'm 24, living in Virginia Beach, along with Emo_Pirate, Koritsimou, and The Ti Chan. We don't all live together (just me and Ti do), but we're all pretty good friends. domokun
I got my first doll in August 2005(ordered in early July), my Dream of Doll, Tender Yen. Since then, I've gotten five more, whom I rather enjoy; a CustomHouse Mars for Valentine (2006version), a Volks Tsubaki, a Volks Tinatsu (mod boy), a Volks Sweet Dream Piccolo, and my CustomHouse Uranus (Hybrid, Uriel head on littlejunior body). I love my boys, and next on my list is my first SD sized doll, Iplehouse Louis.

Hallo, my name is Rei, or you can call me Emo. I'm in Virginia Beach as Rorek said, and my first doll was a Luts Delf Miyu, named Belladonna, or Bella for short, and I have recently aquired a CherishDoll demon boy named Kyren.

Greetings. I am Nold and am 18. I live in VA as well. I do not own any dolls as of yet, but have fun looking and reading about others dolls. I am more of a lurker on Gaia and DoA. On DoA, I am Rosaria. And... I have a fetish for dolls with pointy ears. >.> That is one sexy doorknob behind me. (Shiny! )  Now a proud owner of a DZ Ian.

Ohohoho. Hi guys. :B  [Apologies for the image size]My name is Nathan, I'm 19-years-old and reside in Essex, England. I got into ABJDs roughly two years ago, and ordered my first dolls aroouund last September. I am currently the owner of a Dolkot Hara named Artemis, an Angelregion Little Fair Ami named Maaya and a WS CP Kid Delf Woori named Florian. I have also been the owner of a WS Dolkot Leaf and one of those evil sleeping-head Wishels, both of these dolls are now sold.

Hi...On DoA I'm Osaka. I've had dolls for a bit over two years now. My husband and son also have dolls, and they occasionally show up in my pictures. I'm in Virginia, and frequently hang out with Rorek and company. My family right now is a Dollshe Hound (V1), Doll in Mind Danbi, Doll in Mind "Real", CP Nanuri '06 boy, Volks SD13 Link, and a CP modified Dreaming Lishe on the "girl" body (as opposed to the mature body). I also have three floating heads--Volks SD13 Isao Nanjou V2, Doll in Mind Rain, and Volks SD13 School Head "A." I'm hoping to get a body for one of them soon.
I sew a lot and am slowly getting better at doing my own faceups.
I won't be posting a picture of myself. It just isn't going to happen, so don't ask! XD

I'm from France, and i love dolls since 2 years now, not very long :3...
I have a Dollshe Husky, a Minifée Shiwoo Elf (got him 2 days ago !!!), and a Gomidoll Idue Head... I must buy a body ! crying
I'm graphic designer, I have a boyfriend who likes too BJD heart but don't want to buy one for the moment... crying

I'm Eveshka here, LJ and on DoA. I have more dolls than brains ( see http://www.houseofresin.net ), and I live in the boondock upper northwest suburbs around Atlanta, Georgia. (I can almost hear the banjos if I'm really -really- quiet.) I'm an accountant, retired cosplayer, and active writer (see http://www.eveshka.org ). Many of my dolls represent characters in my books, which is a frightening thought at times. Almost every faceup I have attempted has been redone now, handed off to talented artists here and there because my paint skills suck hugely. I don't bite hard (unless you ask) and then I expect a tip... but otherwise, I'm pretty hard to offend, and will occasionally offend you with my non-Southern bluntness. So please, if I do... shoot me a little note and tell me before leaping out like my cat with all claws extended! smile

Quite a few of you know me, and the rest are new, so those of you who don't know, I'm Omi. AKA, koritsimou, korit, kori, and a multitude of other nicknames, mostly from anime and video games my friends and I have gotten into. I prefer the name Omi over everything, however, and I'll answer to just about anything you can call me, as long as I know who you're talking to.
I got into dolls when my friend Tichan posted on in her lj, although my first reaction to them was, "OMG CREEPY."
Then we went to a regional convention, and they were EVERYWHERE. I fell in love then, and I've since bought one of my own, and have plans for several more. I'm really excited to see other dolls, and know more about them.
My preferences are for msds - the sd's are WAAY too big for my liking, and the yo-sd's are just a tad on the small side, but the msd is at the right size for me. I'm really particular about the dolls that I like, and a doll that is gorgeous to one person could likely be freakish and ugly to me (which is true for everyone, I suppose, but I know I've got strange tastes in dolls)
Currently I own Kirill from Dream of Doll, and he came without a face-up from them. Rorek was a darling, and did it for me, and it's gorgeous. It has faults, but nothing huge, and I love it so dearly. His name is Raziel, but I call him Raz for short. He's got a friend, the Ivan model from DOD whom I will call Samael when I get him (Sam for short). I don't have any plans for acquiring him any time soon. He's just on the 'maybe in the future' list, along with tender E-An, also from DOD.
The more immediate list of dolls I'm getting are Niky and Jerome from Luts/Blue Fairy. I'm going to save the money and get them both at the same time. Niky will be Sebastian, and Jerome Riley, and I'm getting them exactly as you see them in the pictures.
Third (or would it be forth?) on the list is Alexiel - Soony from Luts. I haven't really been onto the other doll sites, although I know there are more than just DOD and Luts. I still haven't joined DoA though I've been meaning to do it forever XDD
I'm feeling particularly long-winded today, so if you've made it this far, I'm really glad to see you ^___^

Hello everyone my name is Suki, I legally changed it because I hated my name that much that changing it for just my friends and people online wasn't enough.
I don't have any dolls yet. I do plan on getting quite a few. The problem is right now I need to save up for a trip to France. And I would like to get to know more about dolls first. My friend had a Krill but when she gets bored with a doll she'll sell it. I think she's insane and constantly tell her if she doesn't want the doll any more then I would gladly take it from her. But I have not gotten one yet. She doesn't take care of her dolls either.
So thanks you to the owners for letting me join and I hope to learn more about these BJD's that seem to grow on people very quickly.

Well, Rorek referred this guild to me, and I'm pleased to join it. :3 I'm Robyn, [Adelinesrhyme or Toyinstitution on LJ, SeanRayne on DoA] and I got into BJDs in july/august 2005 or so. April 06 I received my Latidoll Blue Cara, Anya Dooligan, and March this year I received my Peak's Woods Yulli, Etain Ward. I'm currently saving for a Zaoll Muse. I don't really have a preferred size, I like that Dooly can interact with my friends' minis and Etain can interact with their SDs. I haven't really sewn that much for either of them, but I do enjoy designing clothing for them. I photograph them a lot, and enjoy writing stories about them. They've become a really great creative outlet for me. Other information about me I guess would be I live in Colorado and I'm a student. And.... xD; I'm sorry, but this is sadly the best picture(s) of me. [It has my name because it's my dA ID]
