alright lets talk ethics how many times do you do a mission before you become so familiar with it you dont use any other means of accomplishing it i find myself doing this using the same parts the same stratagey the same attitude towards them all if it came down between two ravens lets say like evangel in the final fight of the game of aclr where do you draw the line at what point do you stop being a mercenary and plow head long into genocidal masicest competeing against a raven in the arena no big deal no one gets hurt but for the sake of a corperation. to kill a fellow raven is unspeakable despite the fact they are weaker than you how do you contend with the fact that through out all these missions you have killed people that probably were better humanbeings than yourself. that is my delema how do we know when enough is enough or would you want to know

in a battlefield, none of that matters. You can't concern yourself with whether your enemy is a good person or a bad person, or whether what your doing is right or wrong. If ACs were real, anybody who'd pilot them would know already what they're up against. It's a gamble for life and death, and whether you win or lose the bet is up to circumstance. Colateral damage like civillian casualties I believe should be minimized as much as possible. I'd probably block stray gun fire from hitting a city bus and concern myself with my AC's damage later then to let some trigger happy maniac paint the battlefield red with innocent blood. I'd only off a teammate under certain conditions:
if I lead, and my teammate wouldn't follow orders
if my team mate was my commander and he issued an order that I knew would probably get us killed
if my team mate was irresponsibly killing bystanders.
Otherwise, I wouldn't kill any team mates.

yes but again why take a mission like in bayload city where their are extreme casualtie percentage oppurtunities that is exactly the kind of thing you should be thinking of it is just as easy to cripple the opposing ac to the point of submission with out killing the pilot its a job killing the pilot because he works for a different company is ludicris he is no better than you he is trying to make a living same as you wether or not a pilot is good or bad makes all the difference on the battle feild, and killing a comrad is not necessary no matter the circumstance insubordenent or not a good raven can pull somthing together without depending on a second raven. a team mate is hard to come by for a mercanary. what gets me is their is a bounty on each ravens heads its just another way for the corperations to compete with one another by turning the ravens against one another. but back to the matter at hand their are several things to take into account when piloting an ac thats why only a few can do it that crap about you cant concern yourself with the enemys stand on the subject or if he is a good person or not is bull cropped up by people who dont think they just do. and those are the kind of ravens that should be eliminated from the ark for sheer incompetence

It's up to the Raven themselves on their motive. It could be for money, charity, or even fame. Can't decide which ravens get offed either. The only way to decide that is by asking, who's got more ammo? who's got more armor? who's faster? who's stronger? Who is the crazy son of a b***h rushing you at 500 mph in 20 tons of metal?

We ravens are used as mercinaries and most of the time the opposistion hires a mercinary the companies only care about what they want.Beside as ravens we should know what we signed up for we knew we might have to take another ravens life or loose our own.you live by the sword/gun and u die by the sword/gun

that live by the sword die by the sword bull is nonsense true a merc knows what is expected but the nature of a mercenary is to avoid the rules and go on instinct money is important but a set of values and restraint is necessary mercs should be in control at all times. professionalism is the key not brute strength a finesse is needed to pull off any job and innocence should be valued above all else killing bystanders should be punishable by death thru trial by combat one raven versus four to the death if the raven survives then he has won his freedom if he dies then it is justice
