I don't quite understand what you mean. Do you mean have we wondered what they would be like with a fifth member, or are you suggesting that there are 5 but only 4 are credited? There are only 4 members and always have been.

i like them just the way they are! =D
so i don't think they need a 5th person really
it would prolly imbalance the style a bit
because otherwise
they'd have to find someone w/ similar outlooks on life as them

Well yeah there are 4 members, but then why do they use sync or piano so much? Wouldn't that be five? I'm just curious and I don't know anything much..

Many artists who have those elements in their music generally have guest artists or collaborative attempts with like a small string group, for example, if strings are exhibited in a song. A lot of times though for the computer generated stuff it is one of the actual members, or someone within their staff that generates the sound to be played along with their original featured instruments (say for example Zero does the electronic sampling, but plays his bass while recording along with the computer generated elements, but I couldn't tell you who actually does the synth/computer generation). Does that kind of help or should I be a little more clear? I myself even find it difficult to understand what i just wrote, but that's partially because I don't know for sure who is the one who does the electronic sampling/piano.

I get it a little bit. I also notice that there are two parts on the guitar. I feel sorry for Karyu for doing many parts of his part and the second.

Hm, yes, but I'm sure Karyu enjoys doing it, because those are some really fun guitar riffs <3. Also, he gets really caught up in playing anyway, so I'm not sure he would notice if he was being overworked XD
Five members, hm...I think it would be a little strange to me. I'm not sure if I would be able to get used to a new face in D'espairs Ray. I wonder if they've ever thought about it themselves.
(Also, Staplegunman, you're sig made me laugh. Very very hard.)

lols. I couldn't see Mana in a talented band that actually performs with their instruments at concerts... (I know Moi Dix Mois does, but Malice Mizer failed in that department for the mmost part)
