I just cannot express my love for this band. They just absolutely blow me away every time i listen to them. The vocals are perfect and music is perfect, everything just fits in so beautifully together is almost like magic.
If i could pick a single band to describe gothic metal and how ideally it should sound this is it. PoisonBlack. End of Story. End of tThread. End of All Gothic Metal because you can't get anymore freaking epic than that.
^still hungry and jet lagged.
But in all seriosuness Poisonblack is not a band to be overlooked. Some people say that they are not very creative and nothing is new or complex. Who freaking cares, it's got great rythm, lovely cratchy haunting male vocals, with heavy rufting guitars.

their sound changed, and for me it sounds like for the worse....I miss the darker, haunting feelings of passion their old album had unlike their newest. well, it has a few of those songs but it seems it is lacking the feelings and the motivation as the first, Escapextasy.

They have a song I like, the only song I've heard by them actaully. The Kiss of Death, partially because JP did vocals for it and I'm a fan of Charon. So I do really like the song. Ha...and that's about it.

From what I've heard off "Lust Stained Despair," these guys rock. The fact that they have the ex-vocalist of my favorite goth band ever, Sentenced, as a founder is a pretty significant reason why, I think...
