«· Appearance ·» Aisumaru has silver hair that falls to his shoulders and light blue eyes, giving off a rather "icy" appearance when added to his pale skin. Standing at 5'7", he can be rather intimidating at times. He dresses in black and dark blue, usually wearing a denim jacket over a black turtleneck shirt with jeans and black sneakers. He also carries a navy blue backpack filled with traveling supplies, food, and pokemon supplies.
«· Personality ·» Aisumaru is reserved, somewhat cold, and aloof. He fears getting too close to people after so many of his precious bonds have been severed by death as well. He is practical, serious, and calculating. Also, he cares much for all pokemon as a whole. He is very protective of any pokemon or people close to him.

------AKA The popsicle by residents of Goldenrod City and Pallet Town
----Koriimaru Namikaze (deceased)-Aisumaru's father, a kind, firm, and dependable man. He grew up in the town of Goldenrod. Before he met Hanako, he was an ice cube, but Hanako showed him kindness and love, slowly chipping away the ice around his heart. She called him "Puddle" because soon, all the ice was melted. He requested for his son to be given a Smoochum egg the day he started his journey as his last few words. The Smoochum was a representation of Koriimaru, although he was icy, he was kind as well.
------AKA Daddy by 2-4 year old Aisumaru; Puddle by Hanako
----Hanako (Momochi) Namikaze (deceased)-She was always a woman of great kindness, and, having grown up in Floraroma town in the Sinnoh region, had a love of grass-type pokemon and flowers. One day, she and her family moved to Goldenrod for the sake of her shopping-happy mother, and Hanako grew flowers and trained under Whitney. When Koriimaru challenged Whitney to a gym battle and lost, he came to Hanako and asked why he lost. Hanako helped him train his pokemon with a "lady's touch," and when Koriimaru battled Whitney again, applying what Hanako taught him, he won.
Later, Koriimaru requested that she came along with him on his journey, and Hanako, along with her Gloom and Ivysaur, became invaluable companions of Koriimaru's. After they traveled through Johto, Hoenn, Kanto, and Sinnoh together, Koriimaru battling and Hanako helping take care of his pokemon as a more experienced breeder and fighting along side him in double battles, they returned to Goldenrod where they dated for couple years before getting married and moving to Pallet town. Hanako's last wish was for Aisumaru to get a Bulbasaur, as a Bulbasaur was her first pokemon and both grass-type and flower-loving.
------AKA Mommy by Aisumaru 2-4
----Yumi Namikaze (Deceased)- The strict Grandmother of Aisumaru. She cared for him after his parents were murdered until he was eleven, when she died of old age. While Aisumaru lived with her in Goldenrod, he would often go to the day-care to help care for pokemon. After her death, Aisumaru returned to Pallet Town where he studied under Professor Oak until he decided to leave as a breeder.
------AKA Grandma by Aisumaru 4-11; Mother by Koriimaru; Mom by Hanako; Old Lady Namikaze by citizens of Goldenrod.|| Aisumaru's Friends || None|| People Aisumaru's Met on his Journey || ----Mimi Kouyama-A bubbly, optimistic girl, one that Aisumaru normally would not care for. Under that, however, Aisumaru saw the heart of someone who feels the need to be great to benefit another, and he feels an uncharacteristic need to help that side of her.

(>='.'=)> Art/Fiction <(='.'=<) Popsicles It was a cold, sunny day in Goldenrod, and Aisumaru, eight at the time, was starting over to the Pokemon day-care center to help out. Aisumaru was quite comfortable under his black jacket, cold didn’t bother him, he decided as he listened to snow crunch beneath his feet. Since his parents died, he was cold and stoic, and he didn’t stop to talk or greet anyone on the walk to the day-care, and it was rather quiet, the sound of the busy city muffled by the falling snow. He didn’t mind though, he preferred silence.
A small child, four or so, was playing in the snow in front of him, and once she saw his approaching figure, began to run, only to trip over her half-finished snow fort, and lay there on the snowy ground, crying. Aisumaru looked around, her parents weren’t nearby and snow would muffle her cries, that left him to help her. He turned toward the girl, sitting down in front of her. “Are you okay?” He was careful as to not make his voice too worried-sounding.
Tears fell more rapidly down her face. “No…my weg huwts.” She said rather hesitantly.
Aisumaru sighed, pulling his hands out of his pockets. “May I see it?” He asked, rather carefully as to not frighten her further. The girl nodded shyly, and rolled up her left pant leg. Her knee had taken most of the impact of the fall, and it was reddening slightly. Aisumaru placed his hand on the knee, trying to feel the problem.
The girl giggled, and when Aisumaru shot her a questioning glance said, “Your hands are warm. I 'hought 'ey would be cold because pohicles are.”
Aisumaru nodded softly, and began treating her knee with the first-aid kit he took everywhere with him. He was only eight, yes, but working at the Pokemon day-care center taught him how to treat wounds, and Pokemon wounds were rather close to human wounds.
“My weg feels betwer now, thank you. Your nice, why do they call you te pohiclle?” The girl asked. Aisumaru just shook his head, packing up his first aid kit. He helped the girl up, and turned on his heel towards the day-care center. The last thing he heard was, “I get it now! Pohicles are cold, but ‘eir ‘weet too!” Aisumaru froze, but shook it off and continued to the day-care center, a small smirk on his face.

Dear Journal,
Today I finally ended studying under Professor Oak (I was slowing him down, anyway) and left to explore Kanto. Flora and I got a dodging manuever down, and she took down three Rattata on her own to protect the Pidgey I caught, who I named Mistral after a wind. He loves to fight, and is quite a troublemaker, almost the exact opposite of Flora. They act like the stereotyped oldest and youngest child, it seems. Flora is rather protective of this Pidgey, and it interests me to see her attempt to teach it right from wrong, I know she will never succeed.
There was this girl too, she seemed much too young to be traveling by herself, much less into the Viridian Forest at night. I must say, I'm worried, despite never having known her up until this point. Her Bulbasaur seemed well-raised, so I suppose I shall have to trust it with keeping her safe.
I must remember to stop at Viridian City's pokemon center before heading into the forest, Mistral is on the brink of fainting and Flora is rather exhausted. I think the pokemon food may be a bit too dry, I set out extra water for the two pokemon, but I'd best figure out how to moisten to food. I must remember to add extra Vitamin A to Flora's food as well, her vision at night is not quite as sharp as a Bulbasaur's should be. Mistral seems like he will get into many fights for sure, so I'd best add extra Vitamin C and Protein to his food next time around to repair his muscles that will most likely constantly break down and help heal cuts and bruises. Some Vitamin K may be beneficial as well, he seemed to have lost quite a bit of blood from that Rattata's bite.

Day #2
Morning; breakfast
Notes:
-Batter makes moister Pokefood than dough. Use less flour and add an extra egg.
-Added 2 T. of soybeans, 1 Vitamin K supplement, and 1 Vitamin C supplement to Mistral's food. Will record results at the end of the day.
-Added (1) Vitamin A supplement to Flora's food. Will record results at the end of the day.
-Mistral and Flora seem to enjoy new food more.
-Pokemon have become huge help in cleaning up campsite. (Flora's influence.) Perhaps Flora can raise Mistral to be a good Pokemon?
Things to try:
-Substitute flour with whole-wheat flour.
-Lessen Yeast in recipe (Food seems moister, yes, but now being made from a batter has made it rather puffy)
Overall Results with New Food:
Taste-better
Nutritional value-slightly worse, but specific to Pokemon
Pokemon's reaction-enjoyed more
Goals:
-Raise nutritional value of food

Day #2
Night
Dear Journal,
The second day of my journey is complete. I am almost through the forest, and I plan to arrive in Pewter tommorrow morning or early tommorrow afternoon. The day started with a pleasant surprise; Mistral helped to clean up the camp. There were whip marks scattered across his body though. Flora must have done something drastic to get him to behave in such a way. Much later in the day, at night, I came to the realization that Mistral was not evil, just a bit of a trouble maker.
I entered the forest early afternoon today. Soon after I was bombarded by some items, I saw the girl again. To my surprise, she apparently ran into no danger at all through the night. And here I thought that gut feeling was supposed to be right...next time, I'm following my practical side, that's for sure. ...Though even that side would say that it was likely for her to get into trouble...anyway, I made an effort to be friendly, Mother would wish it. I learned that her name was Mimi. Flora behaved strangely around her Bulbasaur. I can think of no reason, however. That leaves me with no way to fix it.
I've been training Flora moreso than Mistral, which does make sense considering she will be of great use in the Pewter City's rock-type gym battle. I learned that the Gym leader was Brock, renowned for his breeding skills all across Kanto. We've learned a thing or two about battling, though they applied mostly to bug-types. For one, we learned how to counter a string shot. More easily to be applied to everyday battles, we also formed a Vine Whip Tackle combo move. Improvisation is also becoming easier, for both Flora and myself.

Notes:
-Mistral vitamin supplements seem to be correct. No other vitamins seem to need to be added
-Flora's night vision has improved slightly. Will continue to add a Vitamin A supplement to her food.
Things to try:

-Find alternative ways to add correct flavoring. Peppers contain capsaicin which releases endorphins, and tumeric has curcumin which reduces inflammation, sweeps out plaque deposits in the brain, and aids muscle repair. Mistral seems to be fine emotionally, but adding a bit of Tumeric in place of some of the cheri berry extract could be beneficial. Using some tea leaves in place of some Rawst Berry extract (in theory) adds more antioxidants and amino acids to Flora's diet.
