The small little spirit scuttled away, rustling the large blades of grass as he scurried along. Around rocks and under bushes the fox-colored creature went, enjoying the game of hide-and-seek very much. Finally settling himself into a natural hole beneath a tree, the small spirit announced his readiness with a long series of chimes, sounding more like a wind-chime than a living thing.
"Todd?" The large equus called, studying the grass before he dared put a hoof down. He sighed, flicking an ear in annoyance. "Todd, how many times do I have to tell you? If you want to play hide-and-seek, you should play with a spirit your own size! I can never find you!"
He scanned the underbrush and snorted, resorting to putting his nose grass-level to be able to look around better. His pale blue eyes flicked back and forth as he scanned the area for his small friend, but to no avail.

A teen equus sprinted around a large field, leaping over rocks that emerged from the ground. Being of high stamina and energy the young male could go on for hours. The oncoming wind felt good as it ran through his short mane. He had no words at this point for he was just plain out enjoying himself. The field he ran around was border lined to a more forest like area. The new area that was at the top of a small incline consisted of trees, bushes, different ranges in grass heights, rocks, fallen trees and the like. As he neared the neared the hill he slowed to a trot, his tail flicking behind him.

The elder equus turned his head at the sound of hooves not too far away, and he spied a small black-colored foal. A smile lit his face up so he turned his body to feel a bit straighter, and he flicked his lengthy tail. "Hello there!" He called to the foal. He hesitated though, unsure if he should go to greet him or wait until Todd decided to come out of hiding.
One ear twisted about, listening for any tell-tale signs of the little sneak. None were to be heard, though, which was how Todd liked it. Indra decided to stay put, recalling the last time he left Todd in hopes the little spirit would show himself. He had to go looking for the irritated little thing hours later because he hadn't come out yet. He was to be found where had hid himself when he first disappeared, though considerably more annoyed with their game of hide-and-seek and with his black and white companion.
After this short train of thought the striped equine smiled, calling back to the dark-colored colt. "What is your name, little one? I am called Indra."

The colt happily trotted closer to the elder equus without even realizing it. A sound was heard, a calling to be exact. Transit made an immediate stop and rapidly looked around wondering where the voice came from. His eyes eventually fell upon a striped figure with a rather straight posture. "Hi!" he called back, assuming and hoping the elder was talking to him.
He trotted up the slight incline growing closer to the new face, ending his trot with a leap, landing a safe distance away from the other. "Hm? Oh! My name's Transit." he said rather spunky tone. "Indra? That's an interesting name. Hello Indra!" he chirped.

The striped stallion chuckled, flicking his lengthy tail. "Hello there, Transit, and you've an interesting name, too." He flicked an ear, studying the little colt. He hadn't seen this one around before, but no matter. It was always nice to see new faces. He offered the foal a smile, his mind wandering back to Todd. "What brings you to these parts, Transit?"
A sudden, quiet sneeze sounded from somewhere behind them, and several tiny fireworks erupted about a foot off the ground. Indra lazily glanced behind him, used to such outbursts. He turned and walked over, lowering his muzzle to the hollow below the tree. "There you are! I've been looking for you, you know I don't like playing hide-and-seek."
The little spirit clambered out and began bouncing around one of Indra's forehooves, clearly excited at being found. He made several chiming noises, trying to tell Indra it was his turn, but the stallion shook his head. "No more hide-and-seek."

The young colt nodded as Indra talked. "Hmm?" Transit was partially paying attention to what the other was saying. "Oh! Well I dont know actually. I was just running around like I usually do, you know, for exercise and I ended up here." He looked confused for a moment before drawing his attention back to Indra.
The sudden burst of fireworks startled Transit causing him to leap back a bit. He looked anxiously behind the striped stallion to see where it came from. Eventually the stallion turned and headed over in the outburst's direction. Transit slowly followed with his head lowered slight. He watched as a little spirit emerged and bounced around.
