So I have this homework
for [intuitive] geometry due tomorrow and I kinda
need help on it. Math was never my strong point.
It was just the second day back at
school, and the teacher just gave the class two
worksheets and expects us to
remember everything and some of these
I didn't even learn yet. :/

x²-10x+11=0


x²+8x+2=0


X²+4x-5=0

(x²+5x-9)-(3x²-7x+11)

What is 2-% of 18?

What percent of 18 is 6?

30% of what is 21?

What is 40% of 60?

let me work these out (it's cheating me giving you the answers)

(equations used to be my faverite)

x²-10x+11=0

X(2) - 10X = -11

X = 11




x²+8x+2=0

X(2) + 8X = -2

X = -6



X²+4x-5=0

X(2) + 4X = 5

X = -5



(x²+5x-9)-(3x²-7x+11) (where's the = ?)

(0 + 0 - 0) - (2X(2) + 2X - 2) (that's not right and it's been too long since i did these)



2% or -2%?

0.36 or -0.36 (i quite understand the question)


18 / 6? 1/3 1 Third aka 33.333%


60/100 * 40 = 24


that's all done. The last question and the first % questions i can't canswer because of the question format. sorry.

(secret to equations is to start with a number like 2, 4 or 5. and then change numbers to see if it gets closer to the right Answer)

(I got a B in my GCSE maths back in 2001. So i think it's fair to say I'm quite good)
