Herman's Pets/Comp. Herman currently is enjoying the company of two Betta's. He seems to talk to them But I could just be imagining things wink he also like to play on the family dogs a retriever mix and an alasken Husky Da Betta is a Vail Tail he is a dark to medium blue with Red Highlights Da Betta is no longer with us at present his empty bowl has been replaced with a photo Morgan A crown tail has a dark colored body with red finsAmelia A female Crown tail she is rather young so as of right now her body is a cream color with red fins that have a pail blue stripes

Sunday January 9th 2011
Today Herman is feeling kinda blue his first Betta has died in the night. He had been ill for sometime now and despite our best attempts to save him he died in the early morning. Herman has been sad and pointing to the empty bowl and babbling at it, in what I can only guess to be questioning for his missing friend.
Da Betta you shall be missed and always loved crying

I don't think Herman is quit ready to put a new betta next to his crib. They where having a Build your own Betta Habitat at Petco. Basically you picked out what gravel and little plant you wanted and they gave you a plastic bowl and pic of vailtail you wanted to go with it. Herman wouldn't even look at the fish he just berried his little face. I think I will give him some time before we try again to help him move on.
Herman also seems to be afraid Morgan is going to go away too, he now falls asleep staring him down. Its a good thing Morgan don't mind all the attention.
Feb 5
Tried again to get Herman to look at the Betta's at the pet store, no luck yet but at least today he would look. They had several that looked like Morgan and it seemed to puzzle him. There even was one that kinda looked like Da Betta, he got a little upset so I brought him home to Morgan and he quieted right down . I will continue you to try and help him.
