Appearance: Tall, though not as tall as his wife, Catherine. He is well muscled, but for the most part it's for show. His light brown hair is short, only a few inches long, and a short, scraggly beard. A little too much food has given him a paunch, and rotund face. Thomas, like his wife, wears an apron, though for household chores, not smithing.

Personality: Thomas is often quiet and gruff, a rather odd personality compared to his wife. This is by no means to say he isn't kind, he just doesn't show it. As the frontman for the facade he and his wife put up, he constantly has to lie, and it's easier for him if people don't expect him to talk.

Short story: Born to a smithing family family in Wheatorn, Thomas was expected to become a smith, like his father. Unfortunately, he had no skill at it. After several years of being a burden on his family, he was kicked out by his father. Desperate for money and a job, Thomas hired on as a caravan guard, hired in part due to his large size, and in part because he lied about his abilities. Arriving in Loghedge, he met Catherine, and after a discussion on smithing, devised a plan, with her being the smith, and he the frontman.
