Rosealine was out in the garden, tending to the flowers, as she had been asked to do. She was a willing servant of the Enkil family. Her whole life had been serving this family, and now she still did so. he loved the family, as they were usualy kind and gentle with her. She sat in the gardens, mending the roses, of course, her favorite plant in the world.With her small ability that she had learned about a while ago, that she could work with plants, and make them grow, or many other things, came into effect here, as she gently molded the rose to grow out a bit, but away from the path. Another rose seemed to grow just for her, as she gently plucked it from the plant, healing it instantly. She held the rose to her face, taking int the smell of it with her eyes closed.

Lorenden is sitting the in the gardens, resting. He had to do much to earn this privilege, none of which he enjoyed doing. He's basking in the sun now, gaining the warmth that it freely offers up to him. He's been too long without such warmth, being kept down in the dungeons as he is. He's lived a miserable existence since being captured by these people. He doesn't like or respect them. In his eyes, they don;t deserve such things.

Noticing a presence in the Gradens with her, Rose looks about, until she spots the man down the path a ways, sitting on one of the many benches. Not recognizing him, she stands, moveing to go see who he is. She walks with a graceful step, her hips swaying in the beautiful red dress she is wearing, even though she is only a servant, the princesses are kind to her. She stops just before him and smiles, holding the red rose in her hand gently. "Hello there..." she says quietly, her voice a melody in its own sense, her perfume of roses easily overtaking the other smells in the garden. Not to say she wore a lot of it, it was just distinct enough that it stood out.

A feminine voice penetrates his thoughts. His dark blue eyes open and he sits up on the bench. He stretches slightly before looking to the woman before him. She's quite lovely. She must be a servant though she is dressed rather well. He lets his eyes take her all in, having been quite alone recently. He gives her a rather charming smile. "Hello. I hope I haven't bothered you in some way by being here."

Her musical voice rings through the calm quiet garden as she gently shakes her head. "No, you havent. I just noticed someone, and came to see if you needed anything." she said quietly, her Servants respect for people above her taking over. Her rose red eyes glance down, as she seems to slip into her role more, remembering who she is. She had alwasy been , almost free in this garen, but when someone came around, she wasnt free anymore, and became who she was once more.

Lorenden laughs then. It's a full, rich sound. "I am not above you in rank, m'lady. I am a prisoner here. A new gladiator they have been keeping down in the dungeon like some sort of animal or criminal." He reaches up and gently lifts her chin back to where he judges it should be. He smiles. "You needn't look down or avert your eyes. If anything, I should be doing so."

His laughter seems to make her look down more until he gently moves her head up. She looks him in the eyes, curious as to what he means. She doesnt understand that anyone would be lower than she is now. She smiles, as an idea hits her. "The garden is a place of equals, as one of the princesses has taught me. Let's keep it that way." she says softly, smiling. She twilrs around a bit, before stopping in front of some red carnations, bending down to smell them,before she gently touces the plant, helping it grow like with the roses.

Lorenden watches her move. A small smile starts to spread across his lips. He quickly bows his head so he's staring down at his feet. Don't you dare think any such thoughts about any of the women here. It would only bring trouble and you know it. You are a quarenthal. How would you ever explain that if children came from your relations? He relaxes slightly, but doesn't raise his head.

She looks back to him, her red dress, shifting in the wind. Stepping back to him she smiles softly. "Something wrong?" she asked quietly, bending down slightly. Her feat were bare right now, and she loved to walk through the lush gardens barefoot. The rose she picked was now in her hair, just over her right ear.

Lorenden slowly lifts his head. She's much closer than she was a moment ago. He licks his lips before shaking his head slightly. "It's nothing really. Nothing to worry over." He manages to give her a small smile.

A shy smile appeared on her face, and her head tilted to the side slightly. "Thats good!" she said happily then went back to tending the flowers about him. "So how where you brought here?" she asked.

He watches her as she tends to the flowers around him. "I was captured... My people have been labled as rebels for not bowing before the Enkil family... My family was killed in the fighting. I was in a weakened state when they found me. It still took many soldiers to capture me and bring me here..."

Rose looked back to him. "Im sorry to hear that. The Enkil Daughters dont seem that mean to me, but i have lived with them since birth." she spoke kindly to him, but seemed preoccupied with her job, not wanting to get into any trouble should one of the Enkil Sons come looking and find her not at work.
