The egg!
Because as the dinosaurs evolved, each generation slowly looked more bird like. After many, many years of slowly evolving, a chicked hatched out of an egg. ^^
Where else could a chicken come from? They don't just pop out of no where!! It has to be the egg!!

The egg. It's only obvious cause where else would a chicken come from?? and Like Sporange says through evolution came chickens, and us and pretty much everything else. My only question is where'd it all start eek

GiOdAdDy The egg. It's only obvious cause where else would a chicken come from?? and Like Sporange says through evolution came chickens, and us and pretty much everything else. My only question is where'd it all start eek Big Bang Theory, duh!! Just one gigantic bang then all the universe started. Then after a while, organisms found out that they can live on Earth! (Yay Earth!) and they were micro-organisms but needed to grow because they had too much room. Then they all lived in the oceans and stuff, then they walked on land. And evolution took over! ^^ We were once squigally little things... Cool.

And the next Simurgh has already been born and will protect the Tree of Seeds after his mother has died. Btw, the Simurgh is a giant bird in the land of Xanth. She can alwo read minds...

It's a fantasy book series by Piers Anthony. He's awesome and this series has like 30 some books in it. Piers also writes other stuff that's really good, too.
I'd give you a summery of the series, but each book could really stand alone, but somehow Piers brings them all together so that it's best if you read them in order.
Me and Immi have read all but 1 of the series. That's only because no book store carries it and the only place where I know it is, is the public library.

Hello!!! I believe teh Chicken came first! How do U think the egg stayed Warm and was even able to Hatch without a Chicken to keep it warm and protect it! a predator or sumthin woulda came up and snatched the egg away and eaten it!!!

i'd have to say they came into existence at the exact same time...it will explain alot...
