Welcome all to this thread where you can learn whatever bit of irish or german you want. All you have to do is post what you want translated and I'll get right on it, who knows maybe Zalin will help me out haha.
So lets get really basic. We shall start with good ole Irish: "My name is ___" = "Is mise ___" (meaning 'I am') or "____ is ainm dom" (meaning '___ is my name')
Example: Nockz is ainm dom. (said "Nockz iss anim dumb) ^^

In german then its “ich liebe Apocalyptica” which is pronounced ‘ick lee-bay Apocalyptica‘. It might seem strange but I feel I know more german than irish even though the latter is my native language.

Want a challenge? (I know this is REALLY random... )
I want to buy some trousers for my ferret.
Its a bit of a running joke from my french class..
if you're interested, in french its;
'Je voudrais acheter le pantalon pour ma furet'

Irish: “Is mian liom bríste do mo firéad a ceannach” Said as follows: “iss mee-in lum bree-steh duh muh fir-aid a ke-yann-awk”
German: “ich möchte Hosen für mein_ _____ kaufen”
That was quite a challenge, thank god for dictionaries. I'll edit the german of that when I have more time.

Do! Some words are laughable in irish. drugs=drugaí (said:drug-ee) alcohol=alcól (al-coal) Those two are like the two words you will always see in exam papers haha
