Day Eight

Things are going well with Aker. The plant seems to be growing a little bit day by day and that really makes me happy to see. When I rescued it the plant was so tiny and now it's grown so well. I don't know why I gave it a name, but it just seemed right, now that I think about it and I half expect, as it grows, that something magical will happen.

I still can't believe those kids who come around thought it was a weed. Anyone who knows plants would've seen that it's so much more than just a weed. I don't know what it is, but it's something special, and all along it was right under my window sill. Since I moved it inside it's been doing better and better and I couldn't be more happy.

I have to go water it again, so I'll write more later.
