Pokémon is a popular series developed by Nintendo. The first Pokémon video games ever, Red Version and Green Version, came out in Japan in 1996. It wasn't until 1998 that Pokémon reached US shores in the form of the Red and Blue version (improved versions of the Japanese games; Green never came to the US, unless you count LeafGreen). Since then, Pokémon has also become a trading card game and a cartoon show. Even though it may seem like only the younger kids play it, a lot of older people play Pokémon for entertainment.
The difference between younger kids and older kids is that younger kids usually play it normally, and only know half of the story behind the stats. Older people usually EV train their Pokémon for competitive battles to raise their Pokémons' stats to their highest potential. Strategy and luck are also major parts of competitive battles. These Trainer Files will explain quite a few of the aspects of Pokémon that competitive players use to train their teams. And for those who are new to Pokémon, the basics of the game will also be explained.
I hope that you find the following Trainer Files helpful and not too boring to read. sweatdrop
