Ringo's pet penguin was turned into a Chimera anima. Ichigo attempted to protect Ringo from it, but that was not possible. However, the Chimera anima did not do anything to harm Ringo probably since it was her pet. She gave it a hug. While that happened, her pendant started glowing slightly. What I am unsure is that either she has the mew aqua inside the pendant or the mew aqua enters her pendant at that time since I don't understand enough Japanese. The next scene shows her hugging a penguin which has resemblance to Yuki-chan in regular form. Her pendant continued glowing. Later on, the penguin glows too causing it to disappear(so the penguin is probably the DNA not her pet). Probably into her pendant rather than her body.

A little to add to this. I don't know if this is true, but from many fan-transalations of the TMM game clip about Ringo being freed after getting Kidnapped by Kisshu, there was something about the pendant gone and that she will die. It is possible that the Mew Aqua/DNA cannot go too far from her although once again it's unknown. I haven't gotton a full transalation yet. Someone wanted to sub it for me. I sent her the clip, but she never responded.
