13 year old ninjas or genin who live in the fire village of konaha, they pair up into teams..one specific team is made up of

genin=team members jonin= team leader
naruto uzimaki kakashi hatake
sakura haurno (the copy ninja)
saskue uchiha

the story revolves mostly around naruto it goes back and forth though
