This is it. August 19th, 2007 is officially my last day on Gaia.
God, I'm going to miss you guys.
I had a lot of fun in this guild. You all became friends, to one degree or another. In a way, you were all sort of like children to me. We formed an odd little family that way.
Please don't be hard on Rush if he makes mistakes or does things his way. He's in charge now, and being in charge is hard enough without hecklers.
All of you, keep writing. Poetry, fanfics, original fiction, songs, I don't care. Just write something.
Don't forget me. I know that, in a way, I'm abandoning the guild and you guys, but I hope you'll understand and won't hold it against me. It's just time for me to move on. I can't try and stay where I am now; time's marching on, and I have to go with it.
If you guys have any last good-bye's or messages for me, go ahead and PM them to my wife, Rebbekha Elfbane. She'll make sure I get them.
And, if it's not too much to ask, could you maybe keep the image on the homepage up? I know it's not that good, but I put a lot of effort into it. I guess it was sort of an early farewell gift, and I'd hate for it to get thrown out or anything.
I guess that's it, then. This is good-bye. I'm going to miss you all, and I'll never forget my time here.
Good luck, Rush. I hope you make this place far better than I ever did.

She'll probably hate me for telling you this, but she was crying when she wrote that post. I don't think any of us quite realized how much this place meant to her. Letting go was a huge step for her.

We three and Trinitys_Fangirl went to school together.
I haven't heard about Rebbekha quitting, and I imagine she'd say something if she was. I don't live near them anymore, though, so I can't say for sure what's going on with her.
Have you seen Casiela's profile? She picked out a new Gaian wife for Rebbekha. I don't know if that's cute, creepy, or just plain weird.

From what I hear, it involved a twelve-year-old boy and was more than a bit naughty. I wanted to read, but TrinFan wouldn't let me.
Trust me, Casiela and Rebbekha are still a couple in real life; Cas just thinks everyone should be Gaia-married, to form virtual families of close friends.

I could tell from her style of writing that she was probably crying during that post. Can't say I blame her, giving up gaia, much less this guild would be hard for me. I felt like we had a little family here of writers, and now we are missing our mother. I felt so sad when I read this that I didn't want to post anything for fear it would take away from her message. I guess now it's better to just post away about this though. I will miss having her here to read my stories and give me advice. I guess I better send her the end of my story just for old times sake, and because I value her opinion as my mother writer. I will make sure to send it to her wife as soon as I post my epilogue. Even though it feels like something is missing here, we will manage though. Hopefully add some new family members as well. *sigh*

Trin was sopposed to get gaia married to this kid in England...and he's tweleve. I made him older in the story, though. And yes, It was verrrrrry naughty.... by far the naughtiest I've yet written. I'm not even sure if I'm capable of going any dirtier. Try asking Rebbeckha if she'll give you a copy. She got one, Sygil the Sushimeister got one, Gosh' got one, and Trin got one. I can't find my thumb drive on which I copied it.

She was like a mother to us and we all love her very much. I say we do our best to make this place better than what it was when she ran it. That way, if ever she takes a look, she'll be proud of us. For Mumma!
