The forest is a vast place, filled with lakes, waterfalls, mountains and even anciant bildings long abandoned. The forest's limits stretch all the way from the city close by to the ocean on the other side.
(A more productive map will come soon to give you a better image of it.)
Humans known as hermits, and even warriors live on the outskirts of the forest. Be aware they mostly hunt during the day. It is also rumured there are bounty hunters around the area, in search of animals deemed to be a wealthy pelt. More then likely they will find you wealthy enough...

A silent, chilled wind hushed over the large woods with trees swaying with it as if dancing to a song. It was sudden that the wind turned violent and spat across the sky. It was of course unknown to the sudden change in air, but there was no doubt it was something. Silver passed through anyone's eyesight overhead, a long yet solemly slow hiss came afterwards. It was not the wind's doing...but her.

She had come to the habit of searching the landscape close down. She was not looking for anything in particular, just merely looking. Her whiskers went up and down next to her slender body, her fur gave a few tints of blinding white when hit directly with a side wind.

Her eyes were focused ever intently before her, not even bothering to look down anymore. Her little 'walk' around her home came to an end as she gracefully landed on a cliff where a cave was. She entered non-hesitantly and curled up in the hay of her bed.

It was nearly in the middle of the night now, it was most intriguing to wonder why she was flying aroundat this hour...of course no one actually cared or payed attention to it really, but one could only think of what she was probably thinking.

"Ah... There she goes..."
A pair of sparkling hazel eyes were staring skyward. The Apprentice would frequently wake up during the night, either by a dream or an unknown reason. Tonight she never went to sleep. Instead, she sat outside her home, a hollowed out tree that went down into a series of connected tunnels, and watched the sky. Her leather bound book was propped open in her lap, a pencil pursed between her lips.
It wasn't often that she was looking in the right place to witness the beauty that was the Spirit of the Forest. She sighed, her pencil dropping with a hollow thump to her notebook, and placed a hand against her hair as the wind picked up.
Distraction gone, she stared down the length of her legs to her bare and dirty toes, wiggling them in the grass. The girl giggled, hunching her shoulders as she squirmed on the ground, then gathered her things to stand. She patted her clothes free of grass and looked around one last time.
She tossed the book and pencil inside her hovel, nodding when she heard the thud of them striking the wooden trap door, and turned back around to survey the field before her. It was empty except for a few darting fireflies, and the wind rustled through the tall grass peacefully, like whispers.
Another sigh.
"Wouldn't hurt..."
The black-haired girl skipped into the tall grass, dragging her hands through the chest-high sea of green.

( redface Beauty? Lol. That's an emberrasing statement.)
Momentarily struck with curiousity, Aleace began to slowly crawl along the hay and came close to the cliff of her cave. She felt there were eyes upon as she traveled and just decided now to investigate.

She saw not far off a girl with a notepad and a pencil. Her attention now turned away, the dragon/wolf could narrow her eyes for a closer look. It was then the girl rose and was heading off. The dolf's whiskers twitched ever so lightly, as her eyes held the expression of curiousity.

Was the girl taking notes of something? Or was she merely observing? Whatever the case, the girl was 'frolicking through the tall grass, which the dolf found intriguing. She couldn't help, but watch the girl's happiness, a smile creeping over her face. She made a small hiss of a sigh, deciding against to fly down and greet the girl. It had been years since she spoke a word...would she evn be able to sound out anything?

She sighed heavily, and looked to the sky, as if an answer would come in the form of stars. She let out a hiss filled howl, feeling as almost frustrated that her mental turmoil was taking up her thoughts and the fact that it really wouldn't hurt to get a closer look.

She decided to go forth. Jumping out of her cave, she glided down to the tall grass, only a few yards from the girl. She wasn't sure if she had noticed or was having to much fun, but her landing couldn't be anymore quiet.

(( D'aww.. Nonsense. :3 ))
A cartwheel. Two. Then tumbling carelessly into the grass.
The Apprentice always enjoyed the cool nights in the field. She lay still, completely engulfed by the overgrown grass, and stared up at the star-dotted sky. She exhaled a peaceful sigh, reaching up lazily to move a few strands of glossy black hair from her eyes. It was quiet, a light breeze trickling through the grass, and maybe a cricket or frog chirping here or there. Her eyes drifted shut, soothed by the tranquility, until...
A piercing, hissing howl splits through the air. The Apprentice sits up straight, though still only peeks over the top of the wafting grass. She looks around curiously, frowning. Seeing nothing out of the ordinary, the girl stands and straightens her simple shirt and shorts, and turns to head back to her home.
Though an almost out-of-place sound catches her ear, and she turns in time to see.. something land in the grass a few yards away. Blinking, she pauses and turns, considering to investigate... And does so. Smiling and humming cheerfully, she skips through the grass to find whatever had come out of the sky.

Sapphire eyes scaned the streets, there jumpy rhythem gave others the impression she was looking for something. Now this wasn't entirly true, for this Mistress was looking for something to dine on. And not something you would find in the city either. Her black pleated miniskirt bounced with every click her heels would make hitting the cold hard pavement. The red ribbion on her jacket blew carelessly in the wind. As the people started to thin out, the girl quickened her pace, finialy breaking into a run she reached the outskirts of town, sprinting through these areas so no Hobo would get ahold of her. Gasping, she grabbed an enhalor. Taking a puff, she walked. She was in the medow now, and she could see a girl doing Cartwheels. It was pretty amusing to watch, but not as amusing as what she really wanted from her.
Blood.
She licked her fangs, then noticed another parting of the tall grass. She was all hers now, so she continued, sneaking around them, and getting into the forest. Small animals would work for her, but they wernt her favorite. Her blond curls lit in the moonlight one last time before slipping into the forest.

(Maco. You do realize this is the forest rp. The city one is below. :3)
She stayed in the spot she had landed, knowing full well the girl had seen her. She actually didn't care all that much. She sat down and looked forward as the girl pulled away the grass from view and saw her fully.

She made a small hiss, not to be mean, but just saying hi. The girl before her would probably run or something. This was actually the first time she could remember getting infront of someone like this. This girl will probably feel special...

The Apprentice gasped, eyes growing wide for a moment. She stared at the drolf before looking around. Then she took a tentative step forward.
"Hello..."
A kind smile curved her lips as she clasped her hands behind her back. Oh, how she wished that she had her sketchbook with her... She looked over the magnificent creature, trying to commit every detail to memory. She wanted to draw her so badly...
"Can't sleep, either?"

OoC//I moved to the forest immidatly though... but I know and It wont happen again sorry! X3 )

The vampiress slid through the shadows of the trees. She was good at keeping quiet. She herd the snapping of a twig behind her, whipping around, she sprang hard, fleeing into a tree.
"Are you really that scared of me?" Came a low handsom voice.
"Crow!" she screached, flinging down and landing on his shoulders.
"I told you not to sneak up on me! Especialy in the forest!" She hissed more quietly now, banging him lightly on the head with her fist.
"Ha!" he laughed, taking Mia around her waist and lifting her off, then wrapping his wings losely around her. Lucimia enjoyed the warmth of them. They where huge span of 6 foot 2, to be exact. They dropped to his feet. They where black, with a velvety fuzz to them and small vains running through the thin skin parts that draped gracefuly between the cartlage.
"You know love, I love to sneak up on you, just to see tha' pouty face you make!" He wispered in her ear.
"What face?"
"Tha' one!" he cooed, poking her lightly on the nose.
"Ha ha." She spat, with total scarsam, "Vary funnay!"
He twisted her face to meet his.
They stood there kissing for a couple seconds, then broke away.
"And tha's why I make it! For the kisses!" She cooed, running her fingers through his hair. Crow pulled a curl and released it, letting it bounce.
"I love you." He wispered, so only the wind could carry it to her ear.
"I love you too." She replied back with the same quietness, her fangs clicking in delite. She then unravled the wings that protected her, and arched her back, letting thiner more decelate wings slowly seap out. She truned around, giving Crow a single wink and blowing him a kiss as a deep indigo cloud of smoke formed around her, making the shape of a heart before settling. Nothing was there after, but Crow knew why. She blew out of the back of the smoke heap in her bat form. He smerked, letting a single word accape his lips, "Damn."

(Its fine Maco. its not like I'm going to smack you upside the head for it. *Contemplates* XD I'm just kidding. I hadn't payed attention to the bottom writing. This is fine and acceptable. ^^)
She quirked a brow at the girl's intent stare on her. She had to admit herself, this girl was actually not bad looking as she thought a human would look like. The Drolf bent her head down in a bow to her, making a small hiss as her whiskers stretched forward and felt the girl from her face to her arms. It was way she could register that the girl was of no threat and wasof the friendly type.

Though her methods probably seemed abit straight forward, it was the best way to keep her survival. her whiskers then wnet into a a cresting, where they would start to ascend above her head, but then would drop suddenly to her sides. Her ears were facing forward to hear everything that went on from the girl infront.

She shook her head, giving a full reply to not eing able to sleep either. She wasn't sure if she should speak or actually start a conversation with the girl. Her body stretched out further to stretch, not noticing her fur bristled at the sudden action. Her tail flicked around every so often, as she came close to the girl's frame, making ammental not of her smell. Blueberries and grapes...an odd yet very sensible smell came from the girl.

Should she say something? it was abit of a challenge...as if she talked, she would sin of some sorts.

The Apprentice giggled, squirming under the whiskers' scrutiny. She moved a lot more freely tonight; she'd left her katana and other cumbersome items at her home.
Eyes soft, the girl nodded at the drolf's nod. She smiled, giggling quietly.
"It's too nice of a night to sleep."
She made the comment idly, watching the creature stretch. Carefully, she lifted a hand and reached for the top of the drolf's head, intending to pet her.
"I'm the Apprentice. What's your name?"

(( Innocence is bliss! :3 ))

She was worried the girl would ask this. How was she to speak? With her mouth, right? Open it and words came out? That didn't sound to hard.

She closed her eyes and made hiss like purrs to the human's touch of her head. She could feel the girl's hands travel on her horns, and then ever so lightly to her forehead. She never thought being petted would be such a nice feeling and sensation.

She made her body stand more erect in posture, her body stretching to the side of her as she merely opened her mouth and words spilled out.

"My name...is Aleace dear girl. How very forutnate of such a pretty little human to be in this lonely forest...but I can't help, but wonder why you are here? I have never seen one go into these woods so deep alone," she spoke with a calm, gentle voice. Her mouth closed, as her ears pushed forwards and wider, to hear the Apprentice's reply.

The girl grew somber at the question. She continued to gently stroke Aleace's head and neck.
"I live here. Have been for a while. I can't remember how long."
She shook her head, looking around the meadow. Her weight shifted from foot to foot, almost awkwardly, and she hugged her arms against her torso. She tried recalling her passed, but it was almost as though there was a tangible wall in the way. She shook her head and smiled at Aleace.
"I do hope you don't mind. I've made my home among the roots of a sturdy old tree. It doesn't mind... I've asked permission, first."
She giggled, feeling more at ease after mentioning her guardian tree. It was indeed a sturdy tree; old, wise, and kind, too. She could clearly recall meeting it the first time, when she'd chosen the spot for her home. But she couldn't remember anything before arriving in the forest.
PostPosted: Wed Aug 22, 2007 8:36 pm

She smile slightly to the pets, and looked to her nodding at her statement.

"Ah, so your the girl who draws pictures in her notepad, correct? I have never seen you to up close, but can make out the outlines of your sketch book to be drawings. I assume you draw well. And I understand of the home you have taken, and of course I don't mind. If a guardian tree has let you live here, who am I to judge?" she questioned, shifting her wait to rub her head against the girl's neck.

"I'm not one for shooing people away. Only if they are hurting the forest do I mind, and the creatures too. Since you do neither, I am happy for you to stay," she explained, pulling away to give her space. She gave her a soft smile, nodding to let her know she too would like for her to stay as long as she wanted...

"So...tell me of these sketches you do. I've seen you on many occasion letting small and large creatures pose for you. You must really make their egos rise, no?" she asked, laughing at the thought.

The girl giggled, wiggling again.
"Some creatures that I have encountered multiple times do agree to pose for me... But I enjoy more catching Nature off guard."
She smiled and gestured back towards her home.
"I have a few drawings of squirrels, raccoons... A Unicorn, since they tend to be shy... It's amazing all the things you can see when you stay up in the branches of a tree all day."
The Apprentice recalled that one day she spent in the boughs of her guardian tree. It had questioned her actions, but after she explained her plan, it allowed and even found it amusing. She sat perched in a couple of branches, sketchbook and utensil at the ready, and sketched out all that occured around her: squirrels in a tree a distance away, a family of raccoons foraging, a Unicorn walking through for a morning stroll. There had been a couple of brownies, giggling and chattering around the base of the tree she was sitting in, but it shooed them away. An excellent photographic memory allowed her to take a few quick glances and sketch out appropriately, so she could take it home and clean it up.
"Maybe you could come by and see the drawings. I was... I was hoping to draw you, too... If you don't mind."
She blushed at the statement, starting to wiggle out of nervousness. She always got this way when asking someone new for permission to be drawn.
