I was talking to my friend who's never done drugs before and he showed me a wikipedia article. It speaks of a highly poisonous plant that can make you trip as if you were on acid x100. Apparently you're supposed to take small dosages of it as if you take too much it can kill you.
Now a risk like this really interests me. I wanna do it, and what I'm wondering .. has anyone else tried this plant?

So Nightshade huh. This reminds me of how the bible refers that magic is and can be in the form as drug. Which makes me think that the Christians who say this are hypocrites. I like how one person created a "Satan Salad" from this plant.
I noticed that the Atropa belladonna is of the Solanaceae family. Datura stramonium or "Jimson Weed" wink also contains the chemical Hyoscyamine which is what you hallucinate off of. Atropine is also found in Beelladonna wich is an isomer (or chemically the same 3-hydroxy-2-phenyl-propanoate).
So I would wanna know. Is there a difference in the trip for the two things in Nightshade?

I would ask you not to do it, myself. See, jimson weed is a deliriant, which is a type of dissociative that actually takes away the control you have over your mind. As in, you truly cannot distinguish reality from hallucination. This can get you in to tremendous amounts of trouble, like you beating up a police officer because you think he's trying to eat you, or something.

If you still wanna do it, know that it's a drug that takes a long time to wear off, and you'd probably want a few EXPERIENCED trip sitters so they can look after you.

Oh? Sounds like something only experienced people should do. I can see how someone then could lose it. When I trip with friends they are so amazed how well I keep myself. I could talk normally to some random guy and not seem out of it. I remember a time I had to watch over 10 of my friends while frying once. People seem to forget themselves easy and expect someone else to tell them what to do, or how to think. I always laugh at them because how should anyone truly know, just be responsible Yo!

The only thing I can come up with off the top of my head is that it's marketed as Donnatal -- found a much expired bottle in mom's medicine cabinet, but I haven't done anything with it yet. Probably ought to just throw it out, since I don't know how it decomposes.

I spent two weeks of my life completely addled on an island by consuming a terrifying cocktail of atropine and hyoscamine-based plants...

I would not reccomend it, unless voodoo is your thing.
