Right, so I'm trying my luck with a rp. I know the name is lame but ya know what? I don't really care =D

In a world where technology ceases to exist and magical creatures only heard of in stories roam lives a beautiful goddess. She goes by the name of Hikari meaning light or shining. She watches over this land and keeps it safe. Until one day, this goddess seemed to lose all her love and turned her back on the land. She had been watching it for years and some say she just grew tired of trying to keep things in order while others say she is missing something in her eternal life.

Because of her foolish actions the land began to die. Nights became longer and full moons came every night to shine an evil blood red. Creatures of the dark began slaughtering people and going on a rampage. Mirror images of people in a shadowy form began appearing and killing whoever they resembled. Hardly anyone felt safe anymore and only few stand up to such evil.

There has been a story that tells of a warrior who found a way to get to the goddess. There are several versions of the story. Some say the warrior was the cause of the goddess' change of action while others say that the warrior fought like a hero to help the goddess but fell at the hands of Satan himself. Whichever is the truth does not matter to others. Some believe both the stories are connected in saying that someone was actually able to come into contact with her that moved her heart so greatly that she no longer had the will to care for the land.

Now, soldiers rise of different races, genders, and forms to come together to find the goddess to save the land. The journey, however, will not be as easy as one may think. Several races have trouble getting along with one another and joining together with the same goal may seem like a good idea but just because they have the same goal doesn't mean they will all get along nicely. Several wars rose from this due to people giving up just to fight with anger an hatred. Yet one person feels the need to try again. To bring a smaller group together to continued what was abandoned not long ago. Whether or not anyone will answer the call will only be told by time.

----To sum it up!----

Your land is dying due to a goddess' foolish actions. Several changes are underway. Races don't get along well with each other and forever blame each other for what happened. However, due to one story with different versions, people and creatures from all over joined forces to find the goddess and help her watch over the land again. This only resulted in causing wars. But now, another has tried again only trying with a smaller group. That group...will be us.

If you want to do a half breed of something you need to have a good explanation for it because well...lets face it! A lot of races HATE each other right now. So I don't mind a few half breeds but I don't want everyone to be one haha.
Appearance: If you can't see someone's or whatever feel free to ask for it to be uploaded in some other way. Its always nice to see what the other rper's characters look like.

Other: Other can include your powers and weapons to friendly connection with other characters. Don't be afraid to ask another person to be you character's friend in the rp haha. ^.^

((Okay, here come my characters. Yes, I am making two. >_< ))

Name: Kaine
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Race: Dark elf
Appearance: Photobucket Other
History: Kaine has always been a dark character, one that hardly socializes and doesn't seem to care for anyone in particular. It could very well be the fact that he is a dark elf or it could be because of his lonely childhood. Either one seemed fairly logical. In his childhood he was locked in a room by his parents in a sad attempt to save him from the world's slow destruction. He, however did not understand that and found it to be brutal and evil. Since then he has been traumatized and hardly trusts anyone. A few months back he met a young teen named Hikaru. He was beaten up badly by apposing races and was on the verge of death. Kaine felt the need to help him and in doing so earned himself an unintentional companion.
Other: Kaine is a sword fighter, it is his specialty. He is fast moving and is almost always alert. During full moons he is unable to sleep. Considering the moon's current act he hasn't been able to sleep in years. Sometimes he considers himself a wandering soul unable to rest.

Race: Seemingly human.

History: Hikaru seems to remain the same age forever. He hasn't aged a bit as far as he remembers. He lost his memories two years ago for unknown reasons. Several people who have watched him grow up find it scary that he doesn't age a bit. Some question if he is even human or the age he says he is. One day he was out for a walk when he was attacked by demon bandits. There were several reasons why they might have attacked him but the main reason was that he wasn't their race and he probably had some valuable stuff on him. They'd beaten him up pretty good when they tried to take his crystal pendent, something very important to him. He may not remember what the pendent was from or who gave it to him but he felt deep down it was very important. The thieves had finally gotten their hands on the pendent when a man came seemingly out of no where and destroyed the men in seconds. He introduced himself as Kaine and Hikaru found himself in eternal debt to him. Whether or not Kaine wanted him to, Hikaru began following him where ever he went. It took about a month for the tough man to warm up to him but they eventually became friends, at least thats what Hikaru says.
Hikaru was always interested in the story about the goddess. For some reason he could say he felt a connection to her but never spoke these thoughts aloud. He finally worked up the courage to talk Kaine into starting a group together to search for her. The signs were up and they were ready.
Other: Hikaru isn't much of a fighter. Kaine says he gets in the way all the time and complains when he gets hurt. Sometimes a strange power would emit from Hikaru that would instantly kill whoever was apposing him at the time. It only seemed to really happen when his life was in serious danger. The pendent seems to be the source but it also seems like it won't work for anyone else.

(Hm? Find anything interesting about Hikaru? >_> And wow! So far no girls? D: lol. I'm sorry the opening is so long. Its just how I was taught how to make rps...)

Haha, I noticed that when I was reading your charry's profile. I was thinking "oh well what do ya know? Hes gonna be a kitty a whole lot". I start the rp when I come back. I'm going out with my sis for donuts and stuff. =D

Soul walked up to a poster in the town and read it wondering what these people were trying since the last time they tried it failed. But he guessed it was worth a shot and left for the location the poster specified imediatly after reading it.

Sayuri felt the sun rising, but didn't bother pulling her hood over her silver hair to cast her face into shadow as she usually did, sunlight mostly just annoyed her anyways. She glanced at the younger girl who walked ahead of her, staff in hand.
Mizuki hummed to herself, raising her free hand to brush a strand of short silver hair from her eyes. She had seen the posters when they had entered a village, and had nearly begged Sayuri to go to the meeting. After a while, she had finally given in, which is why they were headed there.
Thinking she had seen some people up ahead at the meeting site, Mizuki turned to say something to Sayuri, who motioned to her, signalling that she had seen.
Sayuri stepped up beside Mizuki, about to tell her to not make any sudden moves until they had made sure they were allies, when Mizuki suddenly waved and called out in greeting. Sayuri sighed, giving Mizuki a weary sideways glance.
